   What a first class Service! When I first phoned to arrange an Ultrasound, I spoke to Ashley (who I believe is based in Manchester) she was friendly, polite and very helpful. My nearest Ultrasound Direct was in Liverpool (Rodney Street) so I arranged for my session there. In the waiting area I met Abraham, a warm human being who chatted freely and openly (he turned out to be the Manager of this branch. He sounded like the kind of manager teams wish they had - humane, compassionate and caring. My ultrasound was conducted by Shala who was EXCELLENT! She discussed everything she was seeing 'live' using the ultrasound, and I was able to see on a large TV screen facing me exactyly what she was seeing. She was also very courteous, professional and thorough. My scan was a kidney, bladder and prostate scan (as my GP thought I had kidney stones). It turned out that I had no kidney stones, - instead, there was a 5cmx5cm Simple Cyst on my right kidney. Thankfully it was benign and fluid filled. My aorta, kidneys, bladder and prostate were otherwise clear. To me it was good news (and could have been much worse). I decided to go with Ultrasound Direct after having waited 10 weeks in pain - during which the NHS cancelled a CT scan and promised me an ultrasound appointment which never arrived until well after this Ultrasound Direct scan. Ultrasound provided my with all my results as well as a collection of my ultrasound images - I have forwarded these to my GP to update my records. If ever I (or any of my family) have any further need for a scan, I would not hesitate to use the services of Ultrasound Direct again - HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

   I had my ultrasound today and it was an excellent experience. The staff were very polite and friendly, the doctor patiently explained everything, which made me feel comfortable and stress-free. I definitely recommend this place to others.

   I had been waiting for an upper abdominal scan via the NHS but I felt too worried to wait the 12 weeks. Found this company that wasnt too far in Liverpool and had apts within 7 days of me looking. I arrived and was seen on time by Mark who was really lovely. Put my mind at ease and my partner was allowed in. As mark scanned each organ he explained everything and answered all my questions. He gave me an idea of what to discuss with my GP next which was great. Fully worth the £145, to get an apt fast, be seen, have everything explained, no rushed appointment. Id recommend this company.

   Booking through the website is very easy, on the day everything went smooth with no delays and the ladies there were very nice and comforting. One thing I wasn't aware of is that to be able to access your scan information afterwards you are sent a link which takes you to a third party provider which you have to pay an additional 2£ ( well 1.99 ) to download your scan info. Other than that everything was fine .

   Very professional and fast. The two women were kind. Do not aspect a big institution . It is only a single room with all inside but enough for what you need. They give you print of scan and a digital pics and video as well. Very happy about the service

   Find this such an unprofessional business. I know staff can become sick and from this my scan has been cancelled 12 hours before scan they have called me to say it's now not happening. When speaking to the girl she said I can go to Manchester I advised I have no transport and only have the morning off work. Her reply was its only 30 minutes away..... When you have waited 3 weeks for the scan and to be told 12 hours before that your scan is now cancelled and you have to wait another week with the lady having an attitude on the phone is so unprofessional I am so disappointed and won't be re booking or recommending them.
