I'm a regular swimmer at Ashville. It opens at 6am during the week and has a fab 25m pool. Probably the best pool in the area.
Daughter plays netball here a lot, courts both indoors and out are great, parking usually good unless it's a big tournament
Great place with numerous amenities/activities.. my grandchildren go swimming here and have cricket lessons

Odd sized pool. Poorly managed. Water much warmer than they advertise on their website. Lifeguards don’t manage the pool properly. They allow anyone of any speed to swim in any lane during lane swim. They also let non lane swimmers mess around and disrupt lane swim for the lane swimmers. Took away the Friday night lane swim. Cancelled this Sunday session due to triathlon, but assured us that the pool would be open for lane swim 5-6pm. I showed Up at 5pm. Not available but not their fault. Well who’s fault is it? Mine. Was told I should speak to manager. I asked where are they? Staff slowly and very reluctantly went to check. My time is really valuable and this pool has wasted a ton of it over the past 4-5 months I went from swimming 15-20km a week to loathing swimming and being lucky to get 2-3km in.swimming is vital to my twice surgically constructed knee. It went from a very enjoyable experience for my entire life to something I dislike. I never know what state the swim session will be when I arrive. Lane closures? Pool closure? Some other strange thing? A prolonged poor experience here. Final straw was today when, yet again, pool is not available at scheduled time. I went to cancel my membership, but was told I must wait til end of month. I held up my end of the bargain: I pay money and abide by the rules. They don’t hold up their end: pool not open when they say it will. Pool not at temperature they advertise. Lane swim not swim able due to letting in people who don’t lane swim into the fast lane. Having swam in a lot of places, this pool also feels really slow and the lane sizes are bizarre. I emailed to complain. Got a response a few days later. I responded with further complaints and queries. No response. In general, poorly managed with lack of communication. Staff are friendly though.
Great facilities. Open to the General Public during Evenings and Weekends. Fully equipped Gym and a 30m Pool. Friendly welcoming Staff.
