Great facilities and amazing staff. I first came a few weeks ago and was helped out by a lovely lad called Joe/Joseph. To say I’m new to sport and my fitness journey, he was incredibly helpful and made me feel at ease with use of the facilities that the centre has to offer! :)

Very good sports centre! Far better than my old university's sports facility in London. Very supportive staff, very smiley guy at reception on the way in. My friend got injured during the match, and they responded very quickly.

Space is great but for some reason the staff here are often quite rude in terms of attitude and helpfulness despite the fact that these (as far as I know) are the same people who work at The Edge where everything is always great.

There are far better places to go and here's why: Malicious and predatory in it's pricing, taking advantage of students. £465 for a year... and that's the cheapest option for me) As a student, I have to pay rent, bills and generally live, money is something I need to keep on top of and univerities understand this. I was in complete shock when I found out an annual subscription cost £465, monthly subscriptions cost £40 or if you want an hour of badmintion it's going to cost £7. If you want to swim that's another subscription too. If you're not a student it's going to cost £540 annually Due to the fact I attend Leeds Beckett I was offered an "ALUMNI" membership. If you're a student at Leeds university that's slightly cheaper as it costs £290 annually (Which is still predatory on students no matter which university you attend) I recommend looking into Leeds Beckett memberships in terms of sports. Swimming costs £99, sports memeberships cost £139 and the Athletic union costs £198/£229.

Just done my PPE/Test Site Training there today. Though not using the facility as a Leisure centre, I can say that it is a great building with two floors: Ground and First. It isn't, however, very easy to find if your on Public Transport. Even Google Maps is tricky as it is in the heart of Leeds University Campus's.

Very good facility and very conveniently located in close proximity to campus and popular student area, Hyde Park. The staff are quite nice and helpful but sometimes a little curt. I appreciate that reception work is about as much fun as watching all the Transformers movies back to back, but a smile now and again wouldn't go amiss. Love the squash courts although it can get a little stuffy but that could be me because I am a sweatmungus.

The place is at close proximity with the uni and student residential area. So it would not be a hassle to go there. Multiple sports can be played there including netball, badminton, futsal, volleyball, squash and whatnot. It is the best alternative place after the Edge.
