   I've just returned home after an amazing day's self defence and empowerment course with Rachel and Maddie. I'd recommend this to anyone and everyone. A brilliant experience that has REALLY improved my confidence. Amazing!

   My 12 yr old Autistic daughter did this course in thornes park earlier in the year, she is pretty uncomfortable when it comes to trying new things, so was a little apprehensive. When we arrived she wouldn’t introduce herself and kind of stood nearer me than the mixed group of people that were already there. It was lovely to see such a wide verity of women of all shape, sizes and especially age, which ranged from early teens to women in their 60’s. Then I walked away and left them to it, on my return I couldn’t believe my eyes, after a short while she was joining in and absolutely loving what she was learning. On the journey home she told me absolutely everything she had learned and how fantastic Maddie and Rachel were, and that they encourage her not forced her in to doing anything and let her join in at her own pace. She even managed to do a few moves on her big brothers, who are 10 yrs + older than her, and was absolutely amazed how she managed to get them all to the ground and off her. Since the course she has had the courage to leave the house alone, and meet up with friends from school. Below is a short statement from Grace. I am a warrior and can protect my self and others, from not so nice people, Im free to go alone and conquer my fears. Thank you Maddie and Rachel You are my heroes without a cape, that have given me a little bit of normality in a very strange world. Love Grace.

   Fantastic self defence training. Friendly staff, professional experts, thoroughly enjoyed learning these essential life skills but in such a positive and empowering environment. Also enjoyed the mix of people in the room from different ages and physical abilities. Everyone would benefit from this training. Thanks again for a fantastic session

   I attended a course with Blossom at the weekend. It was fantastic, full of so much information and guidance. There was theory and practical which made the training richer and it was also lots of fun. I would recommend it to everyone! I now feel more confident and empowered. The space felt safe and both trainers were brilliant, suitable for anyone regardless of ages and ability. Love the pink too!

   Can't recommend the all-day course enough. Rachael and Maddie are so welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable and they've done a great job at creating a supportive female-led environment. I appreciated the focus on keeping moves simple so your brain can recall them in a frightening situation as I'd struggled to find a course that wasn't a remarketed martial arts class. The theory we were taught about why people behave in certain ways and using that to inform our self-defence was a very powerful lesson too. Feeling far more confident out and about today than I was before I took the course, thanks Blossom!

   The ladies from Blossom came and delivered a session to our women's group, and we couldn't recommend them highly enough. The session was informative, empowering and a lot of fun.
