   Used this firm for my nephews to be picked up last night from lichfield to a desi pub in Walsall, im not familiar with these areas, so used this firm as reviews were good. Cost was £25. I organised an Uber for them on way home which cost £13, I called today and left a VM asking for a call back to explain why the cost was almost double, thought I would do the right thing and give them a chance to explain the cost but no reply

   We used Lichfield Local Taxis for the first time to pick us up from Birmingham Airport off a flight which was scheduled to arrive at 2.30 am but was delayed further and eventually landed after 3.00 am. The service was first class; the driver having tracked the flight online, noted the delay and kept us fully informed so that we met up with him within minutes of arriving at the agreed pick up spot. He was curteous and helpful and I would certainly use again.

   Prebooked taxi arrived 15 minutes late. Driver was a bit surly and then demanded payment before the return journey. Will not use again. Would have been more convenient and cheaper to use an uber.

   Definitely 5 stars for this very personal taxi service that arrived early to make sure I was on time for my hospital appointment and because I was seen quickly was able to text Ahmad to pick me up an hour earlier than I was booked for . Used them again a few days later and was out early again so texted Ahmad to collect me . This saved me from waiting around in the cold on both occasions, Lovely pleasant driver ! Great service ! I highly recommend Lichfield Local Taxis
