The escape room itself was good, although the sheer volume of padlocks made it overly complex and regularly receiving clues lessened the experience of solving the room. Signposting to the site is adequate, but once on the site there is little to no external lighting and staff were slow to greet attendees. Arriving in the evening, when dark, our group didn't feel particularly welcome or safe initially and this definitely soured the experience. I would suggest that the owners invest in exterior lighting and that if staff members are aware that groups should be arriving they go outside to greet and reassure.
