I called this company at 17.15 on 13th January as I was looking for an 8 seater taxi for a return journey from Tamworth to Loughborough on 2nd March 2019. Very unprofessional manner demonstrated, call was answered by saying “Hello” so I had to ask if this was Ace Taxis, the reply was yes. I advised I wanted a quote for a booking but the manner in which my enquiry was handled was very unprofessional and the gentlemen I spoke to was as though he was just passing the phone when it rang and answered it, what an outfit! I was so unimpressed I just hung up on call. The booking would have been for approximately £150 from other quotes I have received. Your loss not mine. And you have been in business for how long? The mind boggles if this is the manner in which you conduct your business and potential custom.
Dreadful company. Booked a taxi 3 days in advance with Andy for a late night pick up and he did not show up or answer any of my calls. We were stranded for over an hour until we could get another company. Terrible service and extremely unreliable.
We’ve used this company for our ski holiday transfers over the last few years, always on time, happy to help and reasonably priced. I won’t book an airport transfer with anyone else.
I have used Aero Ace taxis a few times now and found Andy to be punctual and friendly. When booked to take my partner and I to the airport he was a little early, which I really appreciated, I think he noticed I was a little nervous about getting there on time when I made the booking. We ended up having to return on an earlier flight and so had to change our taxi booking and it was no trouble at all, he was on time again and very helpful.
Not happy. I rang and asked for a taxi last night. Was told 15-20 minutes, waited 25 minutes and no taxi. Extra annoyed as was only a short distance but had lots of bags etc. I ended up walking but I was so tired as it was very late I would have walked in first place if I had known. Not good as I was a first time customer and as a woman I could have been on my own too (but was never asked how many for)...luckily had partner with me.
