   Staff on the phone are very friendly, very easy service to use and was at our door in no time at all. Lovely local company that’s relatively cheap compared to others in the area. Will definitely be using again.

   Booked a taxi home for the evening, but when my girlfriends health complications got the better of her and she was unconscious we had to find a different way home that was at the time we needed it. When I called to cancel the taxi the lady on the phone was extremely rude and sarcastic. When I explained what happened apologising for the inconvenience but she paused and just said ' OK bye' and ended the call. Quite disappointing considering the circumstances that lead to the call.

   Taxi arrived 1 hour early. I went outiside and spoke to the driver to explain the mistake and to be fair he was very polite. However when I called the office, the lady on the phone insisted it was my mistake and when I disagreed with her she slammed the phone down on me!!!! Shocking customer service and very rude. In the end I used Bee Jay Taxi in Walsall Wood who were very professional from start to finish. They sent me a text confirming my booking, then they sent me a text stating our taxi was waiting outside AND they were £4 cheaper ... despite being from outside the area!!!!! I will never use A1 taxi again!!!!!

   Shocking customer service, they've endded up knicking £7 quid from Us. Wife was waiting from pickup time I came out five minutes later and they claimed we were a no show. They didn't phone us to say they had arrived like every other taxi firm does. We booked with the in bound driver paid up front and was told it would be him picking us up. According to them they had sent out a different car and driver to pick us up. We weren't told about that. The (sarcastic) polite operator who had by now called me a liar and my wife said she can't help us and hung up. This woman has had some sort of worst customer training program and got five gold stars. I wasn't going to make the function originally so this would've left my wife on her own without a taxi. Seriously shocking. Do not use. Avoid. The way we were handled in all my years has been the most outrageous service sector slurry of customer service I have ever witnessed. In some respects it deserves an award of recognition. I salute you.

   I used A1 taxis yesterday and got charged £5.20 for a 1-2 minute journey just up the road which I would normally get charged £2 or £3 for. The taxi driver then tried to keep my change even though I had already been overcharged!! They also didnt pull up to my house they parked down the road and I only knew they were there when I rang up to check on my taxi and they said it had been waiting 10 minutes (and hadnt let me know they were here.) I would never use this company again!
