DO NOT book with the following registration: Silver Toyota Prius LX68 EZJ This is a dangerous driver who clearly has some mental health difficulties with his anger so I'm unsure how he is even able to work. He was driving recklessly through Dudley, driving the wrong way round a roundabout at dangerous speeds and nearly knocked myself and my partner over. We called him out and rather than apologise, he pulled over ready to fight despite him being in the wrong. People of low intelligence like this man shouldn't be trusted to drive people to their locations. I can't comment about the rest of the company but he is representing his company when he is driving around like this. If booking, make sure the registration is NOT LX68 EZJ. I donβt care what nonsense they try and reply to this, people need to be warned. Thankfully I caught his aggressive behaviour on video so there is no way to dispute what he did.

Absolutely appalling service β avoid at all costs, only giving 1 star because I cant give less! We booked Castle Cars on a friendβs recommendation for a return airport transfer. Big mistake. On our outbound trip to Birmingham Airport, we paid the driver in full on arrival, plus extra for the short wait. On top of that, we paid a Β£25 deposit to secure our collection for the return journey a week later. When we landed, I messaged the driver to confirm we were in the same spot as drop-off. No reply. Ten minutes later, I got a call saying the driver would be another 30 minutes. Thirty minutes passed β still no driver. When I called the office, instead of giving me an update, they interrogated me about how much Iβd paid originally. The driver had lied about the amount I gave him and clearly never intended to collect us in the first place. Another driver had to be sent β leaving us stranded for well over an hour. Their idea of an apology? A pathetic Β£10 discount. The woman on the phone was rude, argumentative, and utterly unprofessional β she needs urgent training in basic customer service. Even the replacement driver admitted this exact situation had happened to three other customers before us. That says it all. Castle Cars are dishonest, disorganised, and completely unreliable. Once was enough β never again. Avoid like the plague.

Thank you for turning up in the snow and taking us to the hospital. Also we called them again to take us back home. The drivers were two lovely gentlemen who were very courteous and drove us safely in poor weather conditions. Thank you Castle Cars

Terrible for pre booking journeys. Twice now have let me down when I have pre booked my journey the day before. I pre booked an airport pick up in June. I left arrivals to find I had a missed call from the driver. I rang the number and it turned out to be from a different taxi company so this left me confused. Poor experience trying to locate my driver at the airport so much so that my arrival back home was over an hour later than it should have been. Complained at the office the next day but they weren't really interested. Second time taxi was booked for 6.45am. No show. I rang the office twice regarding my pre booked journey. Eventually turned up 22 minutes late. Just makes me apprehensive about ever booking a journey ever again in advance.

Terrible! 45 mins late for work booked taxi for 8am at 7am then no taxi. Used most days so regular customer. Called base to find out if taxi on way. Told yes and hung up on me. Turned up at 8.50 after numerous phone calls and had to call a driver in the end. notdrivers seems to be the base!! No excuse for this behaviour seems umber us the way forward

We had a return airport transfer. The vehicle was very clean and cared for and the driver made the journey enjoyable with easy conversation. He was such a lovely guy. I wouldnβt hesitate to use this service again.

Do not pay upfront using the app as they took Β£18.63 from me even though the estimate was Β£16 and a random Β£1 for god knows what. Taxi was 4 minutes away then randomly cancelled then the booking completely disappeared so no evidence of cancelled booking. I've tried emailing them to no avail and number on app isn't the right one so I now have to try my luck getting it back through the bank! Avoid at all costs unless you're paying with cash...

Really disappointed. Company seems to be going down hill. Use them nearly every day multiply times a day but in the last couple of months wait times and drivers attitudes have been an issue. Wonβt be using again after a 30mins wait today, driver going to wrong pick up and then being over charged. Such a shame.

Giving one star as that is the lowest possible rating, would happily give zero or even minus if it was an option. Called to book a taxi, the phone rang for a while but eventually answered, as it was new years eve though it was to be expected and entirely understandable. Booked a taxi and was told it would be with us in around 30 minutes. One hour later when we called back to see what time the taxi was due we were told it had already arrived and since nobody was there had left. I informed the person on the end of the phone that this was not the case as we had been waiting outside on the car park since calling to receive a sarcastic reply of "yeah I believe you" was offered another taxi which I said not to bother with as we would find someone else and then received a text with a booking confirmation. To avoid the driver having an unnecessary journey called them back to check, after 20 minutes of calling finally got an answer to be met with the words "hello mate" then in hushed tones "it's him again" before the phone went dead. I then called back again and after ringing out twice and then ringing for 1 minute and 43 seconds the phone was finally answered. I told them my booking number and before I could say anything further was told "yeah it's cancelled what do you want now?" My reply was that "I was double checking the taxi was cancelled as i received the confirmation number and did not want their driver to have a wasted journey, their reply "fine" with the phone then being hung up. I would advise all to most definitely avoid castle cars at all costs. Not bothering to turn up followed by a rude attitude, safe to say they will never be receiving any form of customer service award. Ended up calling fastline taxis who arrived within 10 minutes, called the phone on arrival to let us know he was there, though we were already walking towards the car at the time, friendly driver and good price. If you want a reliable taxi company then either fastline or for that matter anyone else, from now on my motto will be anyone but castle after this experience .
