Not encouraged to pursue the job they want to do, For example the careers adviser saying "you won't get the grades you will need to do what you want to do in college" instead of encouraging her, NO they turn around and say "why don't you go for an assistant instead it's easier" So like saying "you want to be a doctor?" You can't do that become a nurse instead it's easy" where would the world be if all career advisors were like this?
