We are really happy with the Kumon in Hilsborough. We can see a very good progress since our daughter started attending . Materials are provided. The teachers are really helpful and professional.
I used to go to Kumon for Maths, and honestly, it really helped me. The daily practice seemed like a lot at first, but it built a strong foundation and understanding in maths. The instructors are supportive and always encouraging. They didn't just give me the answers, they guided me to figure out things myself, which made a big difference in how I approached problems in general. Over time, I went from being unsure in math to actually enjoying it.
Well organised, highly respectful staff members, have great communication skills, and most importantly, they deliver a service that is tailored individually. Children of all background and academic level are treated based on their needs. My child who struggles to understand maths is progressing at the expected level because the centre recognises the children's difficulties, formulate a plan i consultation with parents, and approaches them based on their specific needs. The children's performance is constantly monitored and get recognised for their achievements. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KUMON!!
Kumon maths & English teaching team is amazing and passionate about what they teaching and they are always looking the way to make a positive impact on students learning and they are committed through hard work to make a difference.
Our daughter spent nearly all year 5 with Kumon Maths and English. We did not see any significant progress neither in Maths nor in English languages. Kumon provided very light supervision and guidance. Kumon staff are unable to identify needs of each student because they do not spend enough time with students. Every week, significant number of students are sitting there doing work. Many times, our daughter told us that nobody talked to her during the whole session. In addition, our daughter was given the wrong sheets either because they were not the right level or sheets that she was given previously. Finely, Kumon staff told us that they will be taken three weeks holidays and parents still have to pay the fee! All these made us take the decision to withdraw our daughter from Kumon program that we do not recommend to other parents.
