We came across this place by accident while walking in the village at night. Unpretentious, friendly, fun. If you're up for a beer and a game of darts or pool, here's your place.
A delightful place, Old fashioned but clean with modern facilities. An important part of village. Something to be treasured.
Went here for a party in the downstairs area is a kitchen for doing private functions which is handy. Toilet downstairs too. Upstairs is the bar. It is very cosy and welcoming, a lovely area. Great comfy seating, pool table, a stage for entertainment, even a place for you to hang your coat up. The toilets upstairs was spotless and welcoming, didn't make you feel like you wanted to get out quick like some toilets do (I'm sure you know what I mean) Bar staff was nice and friendly and wasn't overpriced. The only thing that lets it down is you have to park on the road but it is a historic area so probably be expected. All in all, it's a lovely place to go.

Refurbished upstairs bar with 2 snooker tables, pool table and dart board. Village hall downstairs great for functions.
