i came online to get a follow up appointment at 0810 and find that i cannot as it is closed down as it has met its allowances . it only opened at 0730 so is this enough for us to be able to make an appointment, things have gone silly since we do things online
Been with these doctors for years and just left after being denied help multiple times for chronic back pain caused by scoliosis, they offer no support and don’t seem to care about your physical or mental health whatsoever. Wouldn’t recommend anybody joining them it’s a relief to finally be receiving care elsewhere.
Absolutely awful! I hadn’t been feeling well recently as I was having problems with my chest so I filled out a triage questionnaire requesting for an urgent appointment. I then received a text saying “to finish submitting your request enter the verification code 504675” but I didn’t have a clue where to enter it as I didn’t get a link. I called up asking what the code was about and they said I needed it to make an urgent appointment. I was confused as I’ve never received a verification code to book an appointment with them before. I told them that a link wasn’t attached to the text I received and the receptionist said they’ll go through the request with me. An hour later I got a call back saying they’ve booked me an appointment at the urgent treatment centre for 3:30. When I got there I tried to book in at reception only to be told my name isn’t on the appointment list. I told them brookvale said to be here for 3:30 for my appointment and to check again. They got their supervisor to have a second look but they said that I’m not on the list and can’t find my name. I asked them if there was anything I could do they told me to take a seat and someone will see me but the wait time was 2 and a half hours. I had other things to do so I declined and went back into brookvale to speak to a receptionist. Told them that they didn’t have any records of my urgent request to see a GP. The receptionist told me my request was closed I was fuming because I didn’t cancel it and I didn’t have any calls or texts to tell me it was closed. She then told me that she will open the request again and I’d get a call for an appointment later today. 6:30pm I got there for my appointment and was seen by a lady with an attitude she clearly didn’t care for what I had to say judging by her rolling her eyes and making me feel bad about my situation. She also messed up my Prescription by only giving me half of it. Now I’m planning to go with a different practice as Brookvale is absolutely shocking. Awful service and was pissing me about when I needed help.
i put in a review for at 9 am as i am writing this it’s 1 pm and no one has seen it yet. it’s been 4 hours! i am in agony! they give appointments to people who don’t even need them. worst experience ever! been with the practice since i was a baby
I have been with this practice for nearly 24 years. It did have some issues after the covid pandemic. However, in recent years this service has greatly improved their triage online service is excellent. I've had no issues trying to see a gp, I have regular reviews. All the GPS are thorough and very professional. Also the nursing team are helpful and informative.
Brookvale Practice is without a doubt the worst surgery I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Over the 10 years I’ve been a patient here, they have shown time and time again to be inept, incompetent and seem oblivious to their duty of care. They can’t be bothered to see patients, instead they try to bounce you off somewhere else. Add to that, their doctors cant even seem to be able to read medical notes correctly. The NHS already has a reputation for incompetence, and surgeries like Brookvale do nothing but exacerbate this.
Dr O'brien and Dr Abbott are Brilliant, they Both Fully Understand My Physical and Mental Conditions and Always treat Me With Respect of my needs.Thankyou..Paul
Absolutely abhorrent organisation, complete lack of communication from one department to another never mind there communication with midwifery or anyone also outside of there own building. Leaving repeat prescription to one side putting someone's life in jeopardy along with an unborn child. This is the worst execution of a doctors practice and It all starts as soon as you walk through the door. The reception staff are incredibly dismissive (obvious they may have targets and goals to work towards otherwise there would be no excuse for there rude bedside manor) when a band 8 clinical lead nurse witnessed how this practice operates, the nurse in question fealt ashamed of what they saw and admitted that places like this give the rest of the genuine NHS a bad name. Change your practice now! This place doesn't care about anything other than their financial figures. "If you put money as a factor of people's health you will certainly have blood on your hands"
Absolutely the best clinic I have ever been associated with. They are always busy, especially so at the moment but a bit of politeness and kindness to them gets repaid 10 times over in my experience. As for repeat prescriptions, I have the sign in app and its a doodle. If its not on there, ring for an advice call, I've never had an issue. Talk to the staff like an adult and you get treated like one. Keep it going team!
The Flu vaccination clinic was magnificent. From our side, the patients, it worked very well. Thank you for putting in all that overtime. It was very well organised despite all the problems you must have with Covid 19. There were no queues. Ten clinicians administrating the vaccinations made for a very quick "visit". Promise you will do the same again in the near future for the covid19 vaccinations.
