The first thing to say about Spire Cheshire is the superb care I received from the entire staff. I was lucky to have my first consultation with Professor Pradhan who provided reassuring advice where we discussed the possibility of having both knee replacements in the same operation rather than individually. Professor Pradhan was quite candid and advised that having both knees replaced at the same time would be a tough operation but the prospects for a quicker recovery were good. Whilst the first days after the operation were challenging , but then the pain levels became more tolerable. Six weeks on from the operation my mobility is much improved and my quality of life is improving every day. I would say that this was the best decision I have made and is a worthwhile option for anyone in a similar situation. I cannot thank Professor Pradhan enough for giving me my life back.

I have recently had a full knee replacement operation at the Spire hospital, Didsbury. The surgery was performed by Professor Pradhan and his team. From the initial consultation to the operation itself, everything was done in a highly professional and skilful manner. Now ten weeks in, I still have a little pain and stiffness, but the outcome, so far, is fantastic. I no longer require crutches or any form of pain relief. The surgery was done under some form of robotic assistance, which, I assume, has helped with the quick recovery and successful outcome.

In July 2025 Prof Prodhan performed a knee replacement for me, at Shire Cheshire Hospital. It has been a complete success. After the operation the wound was as clean as a whistle. No bruising, no bleeding. no pain. On the same day I was walking with the aid of crutches. After six weeks I was back on the golf course. I am delighted.

This was my second full knee replacement and I had no hesitation in returning to Mr Pradhan. His treatment was excellent, very professional, courteous and caring. Some things had changed since my first operation and this helped make recovery that but easier. I would recommend anyone to have the same operation.

I had a partial right knee replacement in July 2024 following multiple arthroscopies over a number of years. As an active 59 year-old I wanted to be able to continue hiking and walking well into my 70's! Within 4 months I was back in the gym managing a 60 minute cardio workout on stepper, cross trainer and bike. Within 6 months I was back in the low hills comfortably managing 10 mile hikes, and within 9 months I was back at the summit of Snowdon and hiking through the stunning landscapes of the Norwegian Fjords. When the time comes that my left knee requires the same surgery (which is probably not too far away) I won't hesitate to step up to the plate again with Professor Pradhan, who has been fantastic throughout.

Prof Pradhan has operated to repair separate accidental injuries to both my knee and hip, with excellent outcomes on both occasions. The recent repair to my knee was nothing short of miraculous - I was walking with crutches and/or a knee brace for nearly 6 months before surgery (I was on an NHS waiting list, but couldn't wait any longer). Following surgery at the Spire Cheshire Hip and Knee Clinic I walked out of hospital, as a day case, unaided and without the need for painkillers. I had recovered full range of motion very swiftly, and have returned to riding and much faster than I had dared to hope! Thank you very much again.

I was extremely well looked after throughout the process. Mr Pradhan was ( again) calm and professional and kept me fully informed at all times. He made me very confident and assured. As for the surgery and its outcomes , I am delighted with where I am after (now) eight weeks . I am completely pain free and fully mobile . I have returned to walking and golf already and look forward to recommencing some more demanding activities very soon! I am very grateful for the outcomes

William Thomas Kendrick I had my first consultation with Mr Pradhan in October 2015 following which I had a full knee replacement the operation was very successful, and I have had no problems since. In September of this year, I had another consultation with Mr Pradhan followed by a full hip replacement once again the operation has been successful, and my hip problem has been resolved I cannot speak too highly of Mr Pradhan's skill and expertise, and I would recommend him to anybody suffering from knee or hip problems W T Kendrick

All appointments at Spire Hospital were made easily, arranged in a short time frame and I was seen on time at each appointment. I was supplied with all information relating to my proposed procedure. From the day of surgery to leaving Spire 48hrs later, I was given exemplary care. This has continued in aftercare. From my initial consultation with Prof Pradhan I felt confident I was in safe, professional hands. My surgery and ongoing recovery have been a stress-free experience and I would not hesitate to recommend Prof Pradhan's Cheshire Hip & Knee Clinic to anyone in need of treatment. Sincere thanks to all. Rita Strolin .

I had a hip replacement earlier this year. Professor Pradhan's care before, during and after the operation was excellent. He takes time to explain everything to you which is essential as you're bound to have questions and potential concerns.
