Physios work between 8.40 am and 3.40 pm, making it impossible to book with them as someone who works during school hours. The first holiday is the end of October, leaving nearly two months without an appointment. Extremely disappointed as following this I was not given the option to see a non-physio, provided with empathy, or given any alternative or private practice considerations. Very upsetting because they've actually been really good for six months leading up to now. I don't know what's happened.

after suffering for months with arthritis in both knees I saw a partner of the practice today - he was not engaging, aloof and basically not interested - I has visited the surgery this morning for a medical review and after chatting to the practice nurse about my condition and the fact that it was almost impossible to get an appointment via the normal channels she promptly made an appointment for me to see a GP later that day - he barely made eye contact and after briefly examining my knees aske if I wanted referring to a muscular-scelator clinic??? - I am not a time waster who visits the surgery on a regular basis and came away feeling.like I was

Edit: I've since spoken to a lovely GP who has resolved the issue and spoke to me like a human being, he even apologised for the below experience. Restored my faith. Also spoke to a kind pharmacist there too, her whole manner was kind and empathetic how it should be working in a medical setting. Some (not all as some are very nice) of the receptionists really shouldn't be dealing with the sick and disabled, they'd be better as traffic wardens. Reduced to tears by a disgustingly rude receptionist. Trying to talk about something way beyond her mental capabilities which she couldn't understand so decided to speak to me like I was a two year old. Now my prescription has been rejected, a prescription issued by my consultant because no one seems to understand the dosage and the amount of tablets issued don't add up. Shame as the doctors I've spoken to are lovely. The receptionist is in the wrong job. I'd just attended an important and quite frightening scan so was already not feeling great, last thing someone who's in pain and ill needs is being spoken to like dirt by a little jobsworth.if I'd spoken to any of my clients the way said receptionist speaks to patients in any of my jobs I'd have been sacked on the spot. Patients are expected to speak to staff with respect (as I always do)and the staff should do the same!

Very unhelpful, borderline rude. Appointment booking is a joke, given times to arrive and then told it was wrong even though the note we had was written by the people booking the appointment. Then when time was correct nurse was off but couldn't offer a replacement appointment on time sensitive injections.

Usual NHS story; fab care from the GPs and medical personnel, total lack of empathy and care from the reception desk staff. I always end up feeling like I'm an irritation and not a patient. There's a way to deal with patients in an efficient _and_ caring manner. Sadly in this place you have to deal with gatekeeper mentality. I completely understand the pressures these people are under, particularly post Covid, but it can and should be better.

My partner is joined to this practice - he is now leaving. Takes forever to get an appointment. Staff don't know what it going on. Had to wait in reception for 45 minutes to have a piece of paper brought down from the Dr. Reception staff are absolutely disgraceful. Extremely rude and speak to you like dirt. They either need retraining in service etiquette or the practice needs a new reception team.

My wife and I have been with this medical practice for 10 years now and have never had any problems getting appointments. The Doctors & Nurses also reception staff have always been very understanding and very helpful and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this surgery.

I cannot fault both the reception staff or the Doctors at this practice - Having moved from Chester 2 years ago this practice is much more friendly and have never had an issue getting an appointment

I would very much like to thank Karen in the admin team at the knoll surgery for taking the care and time to put together all of my medical evidence. This must have taken so much time, I am very grateful Also thank you again for all the time Care and continued help from all staff that I have dealt with in the last 5 years, it’s been a long difficult journey as it is with anyone who suffers with mental health conditions. I really don’t think I would be were I am today if it wasn’t for their continued support. Thank you S Case

A kind note. Who ever is the practice manager in this place I would strongly urge you to train your reception staff and in particular train them in simple manners and respect for vulnerable clients. I'm writing on behalf of my relative who was treated with such utter disdain I was very close to coming in an confronting this bully. Ps this is aimed at the more mature receptionist who should know better. I'm sure she will be at the stage of the elderly soon. The next time this happens I will be making a formal complaint.
