   Just watched a video about Sheffield landmarks that are missed and I couldn't think of any but thought the Arts Towers should be demolished. Went to Sheff Uni in the mid 90s and had some lectures in here. The lift was open-ended and dangerous and antequated and the whole thing is just depressing. Depressing to be in and depressing to look up at. Knock it down, like they did with Sorby Hall.

   I just went there to try the lift. Recommended to try the unique experience. Stepping on the moving lift feels like getting off a car that's still moving. Also, I went over the top and I am still alive.

   Not a member of the University but was allowed in on a tour a few years back. It possesses one of the only remaining Paternoster lifts in the world! Great thing to boast.

   Most of my labs were conducted here. The building is very futuristic with open lifts and contemporary design. However, the regular lifts (elevators) are not that fast. Mind your head while jumping out of the open lifts though.

   Open aspect design with fresh air and open feeling spaces inside the building. Lecture theatres good. Stairs to everywhere. Wide courtyards outside may be very bracing and intellectually rigorous in windy and rainy weather so carry any papers appropriately!

   Grade 2 listed building, built in the 1960s. Houses several departments as well as 9 lecture theatres, study spaces, seminar rooms, offices and the paternoster. Great views of the city from the top.
