This surgery used to be excellent. But it is having some major problems right now. Attitudes have changed at the practice in the past year. Things like "We won't prescribe for you unless you have blood tests and a medication review" feel threatening. It's not what you're saying. I am a Nurse, I understand the need to prescribe safely. It is the the abrupt attitude and almost threatening nature of being denied medication that includes insulin, which as a Type 1 diabetic I need to live. You also never see the same doctor these days, sometimes AskGP requests aren't even acknowledged, let alone responded to, including one where I reported being in severe pain.
