A product I purchased had to be delivered over the last 2 days. Both days, the time given is during my working hours. It's not possible to choose more convenient time & I don't have neighbours to leave it with. Now the parcel is being sent back to sender. I'm trying to get to speak a human worker through the chat, and seems impossible. As soon as I ask to make a complaint, the system seems to ignore that and always gives the same message. Service is terrible both for availability and costumer service.

I would give 0 stars if possible. A company who are impossible to speak to. Failed delivery of the same item 2 weeks running. No communication. No reason. Won't say why. Chatbot refers me to the sender and refused to connect me with a human. This company is absolutel garbage.

When I received email notification my parcel was coming I was given the option of selecting a local pick-up from a locker. As I knew I was not going to be in I selected this option and was told my item would be delivered to said locker two days later... On the day the tracking said it was "on its way to your DPD Pickup Locker". So far so good! By midnight however the tracking had not updated and may parcel was not in the locker. I went to bed disappointed. The next morning the tracking said it had gone backwards and was back at the depot! I called DPD (after several frustrating conversations with their Chat Bot (not fit for purpose)) first thing at 8am. The operator said they'd look into it and the Depot would call me in in 60-90 minutes. Fine I guess? Over two hours later no one had called so I called back and waited to be connected to an operator. By the time I finally spoke to one the tracking claimed they'd attempted redelivery... but to my home address!? Obviously I was not there which was why I selected the pick-up point in the first place. I requested they send it to the locker as I'd previously stipulated. They claimed the system would not let then and the sender would have to contact them! WHAT!? I spoke to the sender and they told me the only option open to them was 'return to sender', DPD would not allow them to request redelivery a second time. By this point I an very angry. I rung DPD back and they tell me because 'computer says no' they must return my item to the sender and the sender must then re-send it out. Wasting everyone's time and money. I am outraged. I'm was previously a fan of DPD... no longer! Disappointed and fuming! No parcel for me!

Drivers make zero attempt to deliver things when it's out for delievery, they just take the stuff they can't be bothered with back. App and phone numbers are just automated bots that send you in circles.

Excellent delivery service β reliable, polite, and on time. I bought a top-of-the-range portable air conditioner on Amazon UK with Prime next-day delivery, and DPD handled it superbly from start to finish. I began receiving tracking alerts through the DPD app soon after purchase. By the end of the day, my parcel had arrived at their Southall depot, and this morning I got a clear one-hour delivery window (13:08β14:08). The driver, Sahil, arrived punctually at 13:12. He was careful with the heavy, valuable item and courteous in manner. I complimented the app and communicationsβhe accepted that graciously without asking for a review (which I appreciated, as review prompts are becoming annoyingly common and can backfire). Weβre currently receiving several parcels a week as family are staying with us, and in our experience, DPD consistently outperforms the rest. If I have a choice between DPD and Evri/Hermes, I will always choose DPDβeven if it affects the purchase decision. Congratulations to the DPD team on achieving a dependable, customer-focused service.

Customer service is non existent, constant delays delivering parcels, drivers do not get collections back to depot in time to go to the sorting hub and once the driver even took them home overnight. They are the new Hermes!

Should be able to rate zero stars for this terrible company. Had a parcel to be collected - seen the driver pull up and turn around, before driving off. Got a text a minute later to rearrange delivery because the parcel wasn't ready - yes it was and no way to complain or talk to someone! The worst delivery company available tying with hermes and that's testament to how terrible this company really is. Get better drivers to actually do their job it isn't a difficult thing to do! Avoid at all costs and make them go under they deserve nothing less - don't bite the hand that feeds you.

DPD UK is a terrible delivery company in every way possible. They keep giving me problems with every order I'm supposed to receive through them! They just dump your items with a pickup shop if you're not in and refuse to redeliver it! Even though I live in a major city, my pickup shop was 9 miles away! It's almost impossible to contact them. Terrible customer service from a call centre in the third world. You are kept on call waiting for an hour before they might pick-up your call. The lines are unclear and the English of the low-wage, low-skilled staff is barely comprehensible. I do not recommend at all. Ridiculous. Avoid DPD at all cost!!

Expensive item delivered to WRONG ADDRESS; driver's photo shows wrong colour door. App & website give no contact info; only a click box asking them to call you (which they did).
