Reception team were friendly on the phone and I was able to get an appointment for the same day by ringing at 8am then using the call back service (rather than having to wait on hold). Was able to see a nurse rather than GP who prescribed the medication I needed, which I then picked up from the onsite pharmacy that day.

Completely dismissed by male doctor regarding female hormone health - Dr Henry was absolutely useless and needs serious education. Too many women having to deal with this type of behaviour. I also suffer with a blood clotting disease and his dismissal in this instance is actually dangerous. Have been advised to submit a formal complaint.

Turned up on time to baby’s vaccination appointment which was booked a week ago only to find out it had to be rescheduled. They could have called/emailed/texted to cancel and rebook. Would have saved me the £1 charge for a non-existent parking token and time off work. Very inconsiderate.

Got to be the most ignorant surgery in chester. They do not do there job, they guess there diagnosis. To many junior doctors none qualified , all still training. Its absolutely shocking. Too many times they get it wrong , no follow up after care . And there attitude to giving medical advice is take tablets they don't even know side effects off. Go else where , you will not get better with any one in this surgery . They will just treat symptoms. Never fond the true cause. Waste of tax payers money and services. Damn right disgusting . Terrible people skills. Rude receptionist and a mess. My partner has an ongoing condition that can usually be handled by medication. However, she had a bad flare up and called the clinic to try and see a doctor about it. The receptionist was rude, bitchy and very unhelpful. All she had to do was find her an appointment with a doctor, instead she seemed unbothered about actually doing her job and more concerned with being judgemental and time wasting. This practise is an absolute shambles, whomever is hiring the reception staff seriously needs to vet these people first, instead we get know-it-all air heads as receptionists who think they know better than the actual doctors. Bad enough it's nearly impossible to get an appointment anymore, let alone having to deal with a horrible woman who seems to like to delay this effort even more. I hope you read this and think about how to talk to people in the future, but knowing your type you'll blame everyone else. This clinic is in serious need of a overhaul for staff, because if they can't handle a simple request without getting nasty, why are they employed as receptionists?

Not been since before the pandemic so was dreading calling because of of all the horror stories flying around. Called at 8am and was seen by face to face by a doctor by 10am. Brilliant service as ever.

Arrived for my appointment 10 mins early with nobody being seen before me. GP kept me waiting 45 mins while they did paper work. Arranged the apt with GP themselves after phone consultation so they knew I was scheduled to be there. Worst GP practice I have ever been on the books of. Avoid.

Absolute joke of a practice! Luckily I have an amazing pharmacist in Vicars Cross, who has been there for me when this practice has let me down. Too many times the receptionists seem to think they are the doctors, deciding who sees who, or advising patients to use the online system to check symptoms, my elderly parents do not use the Internet, or have access to it, as i am sure is the case for many patients. There seems to be a distinct lack of wanting patients to visit the practice, bring back the partners and receptionists of old who had time to see a patient face to face and give 5 minutes of their time. Practices like this are the reason people go to A&E

I would like to explain how grateful I am with this surgery. I understand in the past there may been issues made significantly worse with the backlog caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, however I am pleased to say that my last several experiences with this surgery have all been outstanding. They continue to help me during a very difficult period. Their new telephone system is outstanding and saves so much waiting. The doctors' I have had here have been fantastic and have listened to me and thoroughly looked into past and ongoing issues. The reception now is always polite and friendly. This must be such a hard job for all involved at the moment and so I feel thanks is deserved and to express my gratitude. Thank you.

Due to being pregnant, having my little girl and some of my own problems all since COVID started, I have had to contact the surgery for help for myself or my little girl far more than I would like. Each time I've needed them, they have been there for us! Very timely response to requests for appointments and replies to econsults. Friendly interactions both in person and over the phone with all staff. Seen face to face with ease when appropriate and other quieres dealt with very thoroughly over the phone. I've never had a problem that has been dealt with anything other than 100% efficiency and compassion. Keep up the good work and thank you for providing such a brilliant service for my family!
