Absolutely shocking place, can't get appointment, rang for chest pain on lhs on and off not sure it's stomach or heart, receptionist said we refer you to pharmacy get medication over the counter. They offered me drugs without testing or any checks, how bad is that. I need referral from doctor to find an issue first than look what needs to be done. Start looking for different place before they kill me

I used to love this practice never had a problem with it until now. Registered here 8 years ago when we moved here. I was with Dr cottier back then and she is lovely even to this day. I don't know why I got moved to another doctor but it wasn't my choice. Ever since Dr Anthony brown has come in this place has got to pot. And unfortunately he is now my doctor..who I've never even seen. Nope I'm not met him not even spoken to him. But the hate I have for him is unreal and that's not like me to be like that with a person I've never met. But it's because of all the stress he's put me through .4 years ago I was hospitilasied for a dentist taking our 2 infected teeth. At palacefields dentist. Caused a very bad infection where I had to be put on a breathing tube. Was there 2 months in a coma ect also I can't stress enough that I'm a type 1 diabetic too.. anyway due to the coma and not being moved frequently I got nerve damage on both sides of the sciatic nerve from the buttocks down to the feet. And severe permanent foot drop. Which I can no longer stand or walk. I'm actually bed bound and lay in bed 247 I can't sit up for long periods of time. Yes I have a mobility scooter but only use this when a important appointment has come up. I don't even go out in it to get my own prescriptions my husband does that for me because he knows how painful it is for me to sit up. So I do everything online, via patient access ordering medications ect. Which the drs have now taken away from me. I was put on gabapentin and Codine for the nerve pain. I'm on 8 codine a day. Along side gabapentin. You work it out 8 tablets a day. for a week how many does that leave me. I get 100 tablets. Which is only 12 and a half days worth.. if I'm on 8 well they now won't accept the request because they only just did my codine which yeah I can understand that but at the same time it only lasts me 12 and a half days!! You need to order when you have 10 days left yet they won't accept the requests. So they taken it off my repeat and put it on acute. To order via email yet the email clerk complained about me emailing too much when I was trying to explain the situation to them. They just don't care though that's an actual fact... Trying to get it on monthly but obviously need to see Dr brown for this. But it helps if you can actually get an appointment with him which you can never get. Because he's always too busy on leave... That's the one they use all the time oh he's on leave. Does this lazy Dr ever do any work!! But because he's my so called Dr it has to be him can't be anyone else. In the meantime I'm dealing with all this stress trying over and over to explain the situation. That people don't seem to understand it's not rocket science is it. It was the prqctice manager who I got a email off this morning telling me all this. Tried to email back. Suprise suprise you can't. going to be giving him a call today. Yes I'm disabled with severe depression and anxiety disorder and then putting me through all of this. Is there were another surgery close by I wouldn't be staying here but unfortunately I don't have a choice. I would like to rate them 0 stars but can't do that unfortunately. Ever since Dr brown came in he's messed with my medication on multiple occasions. I've had enough this is people's pain meds your messing with and it does seriously impact my life! Also I'm going to be reporting him and the surgery to the GMC now..

NHS England needs to seriously looking into this practice as it has been run into the ground, the receptionists must have trained to be downright obstructive & unbelievably rude (they talk over you constantly like you are some naughty child) have an dreadful attitude they think they have some godlike status and yield all the power over the patients, then there are the doctors my god it truly is a mess of system when the doctor you have been with for nearly 20 years (Dr Beynon) the past 10 years so they can’t blame Covid it’s nigh on impossible to see him as he’s either on holiday, off sick or on long term leave or he doesn’t review meds for years, then misplaces or hasn’t filed extremely vital cancer PET/MRI/CT/X-Ray scans, blood test results and specialist outcomes as they thought I had cancer in my bones, lungs, kidneys & spleen and got the all clear only to get an appointment to see my arm specialist and I had to go through the sheer anxiety and dread of going through all these scans, bloods, travelling to Oswestry again, thinking it was the last Christmas I would have with my family all because DR BEYNON & WEAVER VALE PRACTICE had lost them in their system and was unable to give my previous results to all the necessary specialists so I hope you can understand my anger. You are left to the hundreds of trainee doctors (it’s like a revolving door for them) who don’t bother to look up any long term illness you have or what meds you are on etc. Weaver vale is not fit for purpose in fact it is downright dangerous I am now in the process of making a serious complaint due to negligence and lack of care. Doctors are great. Getting an appointment is a joke even for your child. Receptionists are appalling rude, arrogant and poor customer service. Im aware they probably deal with some rubbish but thats no reason to be such rude, horrible people. The lot of them need sacking and hire some less bitter and compassionate people. Just updating now in 2022 and no change, half an hour wait in position number 1 on the phones to be told its an urgent care matter, which the NHS website states it is not and I should see the GP. Waste of time.

I put in for a prescription via the prescription email, and then the week after I rang am they said they never received the email, strange! Also the staff can be very rude, they have got no continuity with the patient,s you can be polite or rude to them either way the Manor never changes. Also if ya need medication urgently if its not on their urgent list you don't get it for up to 10 days they don't take into consideration just cause it not on the practice urgent list in the surgery its urgent to the patient an should put it through quicker no questions asked sorry but it is useless at some thing but good at other the doctors are ok it's the reception staff

Awful, just truly awful…Lack of care is beyond belief which led to me having a severe life changing event, since then we have made a complaint about the practice which was upheld by the NHS, I thought maybe that would lead to a better service for when patients need it…No it’s gone way worse and is bordering on sheer spite by the practice, Denying meds, forgetting to book me in for hospital appointments, outright lying to me saying they hadn’t received scan results when they clearly had as I checked with hospital, the list of complaints is endless and I’m going to leave this horrid & downright dangerous within the next week after many years, another more damaging letter of complaint will be going to the NHS trust as they have learnt nothing from their previous malpractices of which they where told that their doctors must attend a yearly course on patient care & liaisons. As I said previous since putting in the complaint they have become spiteful from the downright rude receptionists (especially Torie), the inept secretary’s and the dangerously “forgetful” doctors. This practice needs seriously investigating as I believe they have cost many people their lives needlessly.

Where do I start, sorry I apologies the doctors I have no issue with, know for the receptionists 11 times! That’s how many times my prescription has been messed up. I’m writing this complaint due to the fact that Weaver Vale have left me without adequate pain killers for the 11 time, I do not normally complain about much, but to the share consistency of Weaver Vale’s Inalienability to supply a adequate form of services to the public is mind boggling. I was informed if I need to order my prescription I need to to so via email or through the NHS app which I have done so as asked, I won’t go into the last 10 times as they are pretty consistent with failure to do simple, in fact I’ve never known an organisation to get things wrong so many times, it should be in the Guinness book of records for the ability to get things wrong over and over and over again. When ordering my prescription on Monday the 11th I gave three days for someone to sign off my medication, when ringing on Thursday the 14th I was informed by receptionist that my prescription wouldn’t be ready for the weekend, I was then advised to ring 111 service that is already struggling to cope with the needs of a poorly, all I ask is for adequate service that I am due, since leaving hospital two years ago nearly to this day I got Covid in the severe way, I had covid pneumonia, kidney failure and a heart attack whilst in my coma, I also have nerve damage by my right hand side, this causes severe pain hence the painkillers that I receive, Could you please look in and help me understand why Weaver Vale get it wrong so many times I have tried doing emergency prescriptions giving two weeks notice a weeks notice I’ve tried every process and possibility they’ve asked me to do, why can’t they get this right surely it’s not that difficult, it’s a simple thing, right? Im also forwarding this on to local MP as to highlight a service that clearly needs someone who has the ability to deliver a simple process, that will not only help the poorly but also the taxpayer, I would not put these people in charge of boiling an egg. Yours sincerely Lawrence Plunkett

I have been with this practice for just over 2 years and fortunately have not needed to contact them until recently. I have to say they have been totally brilliant. E-consult responded to in less that 24hrs, yes it does take a while to get through on the phone but it does at all surgeries as they are just so busy. I have nothing but praise for the reception staff who have to put up with an awful lot from impatient and rude people but do so in a totally professional manner. The nurses are great and the doctor who dealt with me was really understanding and listened to me. She dealt with my problem really quickly and put me at ease straight away, I can not fault my treatment from the surgery at all and would give more than 5 stars if I could.
