I'm not sure what I think of cherry bank anymore they stop what helping you really disappointed if it was 0 stars I would have given it 0 they make stuff about you and tell lies not professional at all and not get a saying in your care plan plus speak to others services without consent
We are being pushed from pillar to post over an obvious diagnosis of dementia. My friend was diagnosed as in September with mixed dementia and was being referred to adult services. We have had 3 consultants who refused to formalise the diagnosis. One consultant verbally told him it was dementia. Now there is a new consultant who refuses to see him until 4 months time and do another memory test. They maybe good with other mental illness but dementia they are not
Poor quality care; overall extreme lack of communication between services. I don’t feel supported by my local community mental health team; I strongly believe that we deserve more help than we’re currently getting. Thanks FB
Very unhelpful receptionists on both floors - sent to wait in the wrong place without bothering to check details of appointment . Very dismissive. Long wait 30 mins past appointment. When finally bothered to make check on computer, which should have been done initially, had been told to wait on wrong floor. So unprofessional and uncaring given that people attending appointments will have mental health issues. A terrible way to run the front of service for a mh provision.
Back in 1985, a most memorable line from a movie soundtrack asked "When there's something strange in your neighbourhood, who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! Well I did find something strange in my neighbourhood a couple of years ago - someone I considered to be an extremely hostile, unconscionable and effectively malicious mental health social worker called Suzanne Tyzack. She helped destroy my life and I'd have happily called the Ghostbusters to capture her. I did, however, phone the Cherrybank and believe that my CPN, PETER, HAS ACTUALLY HELPED SAVE MY LIFE. INCREDIBLE SUPPORT DURING MY TRANSITIONAL JOURNEY. ANY APPRAISAL OF PETER WOULD ONLY CONCLUDE WITH COMMENDING HIM FOR HIS KIND ASSISTANCE AND COMPLETE UNDERSTANDING OF MY CONDITION. BOTH PETER AND HOLLY HAVE BEEN BEYOND INCREDIBLE. So, when I continue to have delusional thoughts or "When I'm seeing things going through my head, who'm I'm gonna call? CHERRYBANK."
