This has to be the best walk in centre I have attended in the area. The staff are polite and we were there for a maximum of 2 hours. My son was treated with kindness and compassion and was administered antibiotics and paracetamol. The toilets are very clean as well.
I came in to the Linda Mccartney centre with my girlfriend as she has severe asthma and had come here with severe symptoms with her breathing and pains in her chest. The woman at the reception didnt even listen to what she had to say about her condition and had brushed everything off. The second woman who was doing the triage had a really BAD attitude towards me and my partner, she didnt even have a clue what she was looking at, she didnt listen to her breathing she rushed her in and out. My partner had pictures on her phone of what she had coughed up and the woman didnt have a clue... Are these people even qualified?. If this is the type of people who are "taking care" of us and our family they seriously need looking into. Maybe this is just the NHS but do these people really care about patients??
I'm an NHS driver at the Liverpool Royal hospital,the staff at the hospital are taken safely from their place of work to their carpark by myself, tonight I was refused entry to use the toilet in walk-in centre whilst still open to patients. The security guard shouted through a gap in the glass you're not coming in without proof of your id Yet patients from other countries (not native to UK ) sat without any questions or providing id. 8 years I've used these facilities and refused outright by some jonbswirth security guard who looked like he'd retired from church organ player . Unbelievable treatment NHS staff driver. Loyal to the cause .
On a bus full of Aussies, you know what happens. One sneeze and a bus full of sickies. My husband got a bad reaction Over the counter didn't help. Boots recommended here. Friendly and helpful staff. Explained the process and had time for a chat and a smile Into Triage quickly. Then a wait of 3hours to see a doctor. Worth ithe wait. Came away with a script. Filled at a pharmacy, for free, for over 60's.
Tip for anyone going, I got there at 7.45am was called to the desk at 8am exactly, saw triage nurse at 8.10am had consultation and examination with a lovely nurse called Elaine and her student Georgia and was out of there by 9am. Brilliant service lovely people and very clean. Would highly recommend this walk in centre.
This place is fantastic. The care and professionalism of the staff is amazing. The current pressures on the NHS make it very difficult to get a GP appointment but this centre is open 365 days a year with no appointments needed. What a great service! There might be a long wait at times but worth every second of waiting to be seen by a caring healthcare professional. The nurses here really are a credit to the service and deserve to be paid more.
Staff were friendly and efficient, patient and helpful. I am very grateful for this service being available and appreciate the hard work by everyone in these centres who take on all sorts of cases without notice all day. Thank you.
Fantastic place in my opinion! Despite the waiting time which was excessively long due to an ambulance being called for a sick child, the staff were clearly working hard to see everyone. Only thing that spoiled it was one patient in the waiting room who was obscenely rude towards all the staff as if she was the only person in the waiting room that mattered; constantly complaining and making rude remarks about the staff accusing them of ‘doing nothing’ even though they clearly were dealing with other matters. Even went so far as to refer to one staff as a C word and when confronted over it tried to lie about it! Disgusting entitled attitude! Other than that the nurses/reception staff are very professional and caring although I do recommend coming early to avoid a long waiting time.
The walk in has been amazing in my experience! Went in with tonsillitis not being able to swallow saliva and got seen very quickly and given medicine right away. My partner went in shortly after with a dislocated knee and again was seen fast. Nurses / doctors are extremely helpful and understanding.
After being in pain for over 12 hours with my nail coming off the nail bed, and infection signs showing I went on 111 online service who advised I went here (minor injury clinic), to be greeted and checked in quickly by a nice man who was the receptionist. However, when I went in I was in a tiny room with two nurses grabbing and prodding my nail, after saying it was painful, they then proceeded to laugh at me saying I was at the wrong place for the injury. They made me feel completely stupid for coming to a small injury clinic with a small injury. They sent me away with no advice, no help and now I’ve got an infected finger, which is now gone black and requires medical help. I won’t be going back as the nurses think it’s funny!! Shameful.
