My little girl attends gymnastics elsewhere as the class times here didnt suit us. However we have used the stay and play since she was 1. Shes now 5, and we still absolutely love it. So much for them to do, and use there own imagination. Id recommend it to everyone.

I love Sherwood Oaks. I attend the adult squad sessions on a Wednesday afternoon. I started the sessions back in March and I’ve already learnt so much in such a short amount of time! The sense of achieving new skills makes me so proud of myself. The coaches are so supportive and can set up anything you would like to learn from basic preps for cartwheel and forward roll all the way up to advanced skills like front somersaults etc. There’s loads of different abilities from beginners to advanced so there’s different activities for everyone no matter the level. Everyone who attends the session is so lovely and kindhearted, everyone is so supportive of each other it’s a really lovely social setting.

My daughter has been coming for nearly a year and absolutely loves it! The coaches are fab! They have been really caring, supportive and encouraging helping my little one to build her confidence! She has learnt lots of new skills and she is so proud when learns something new but I don't feel she is pushed beyond what she's comfortable with! Communication is great and coaches will always answer any questions or emails (despite being really busy!). For me as my daughter is still little and sometimes likes reassurance being able to drop in and watch classes or parts of classes is a huge bonus! The adult gymnastics classes are also brill - there's the opportunity to do exercise which is fun, meet new people and have the opportunity to regain skills and learn new ones whether you've ever done gymnastics before or not! I am so glad we found Sherwood Oaks!!

My daughter has been coming here for the past 4 years, she absolutely loves it. The coaches are amazing and are not pushy like some other clubs. It's so nice to see all the girls in the groups encouraging each other. I would highly recommend sherwood oaks to any parent who are looking for a gymnastics club for their child. The stay and play session that they run are also fab for younger children

My 2 girls have been going there a while now and have learned a lot which is why I’ve given 2 stars and not 1. However just recently they are cancelling loads of sessions, then don’t reimburse the money. I’ve had 3 sessions cancelled since January due to their staffing issues but they keep taking the full payments then when you raise it they say ‘our admin staff are just volunteers’. Sorry but that’s not my problem if you cancel the sessions we shouldn’t have to pay! They also put a snotty sign up a few weeks back saying your child will be refused access if over 5 mins late, however they’re fine with making me stand in the freezing cold whilst they dither letting them out sometimes 10-15 mins after the scheduled finishing time! Become a money making conveyor belt gymnastics club - If you haven’t got the staff you should lessen the numbers instead of being greedy and if you cancel lessons you should refund the payments - No excuses!

My daughter has only been going here for a couple months but has learnt so much in such a short space of time. The coaches and trainees are absolutely fantastic! My daughter is so happy here and always counts down to her next training session.

My daughter has been attending the club for over 4 years and absolutely loves it. The coaches are so supportive of all the children, helping them reach their full potential. They recognise and acknowledge a new achievement which means alot to the children especially when they work so hard on their skills. The social aspect of the club is amazing too, my daughter loves her little group of friends! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the club to any parents with children wishing to start gymnastics!

Very poor communication, ignore messages, all money focused not about the children at all. A lot of young teenage coaches so things get missed. My daughter hasn’t learnt 1 single thing in 2 years and needed moving classes as was way too easy, so I contacted them as she was wanting to leave through being bored, head coach Zoe took offence to my messages highlighting this, they were BBCsemt in a polite manner, she apologised her potential had been missed ? She’d been at this stage since she started. But didn’t offer any flexibility on the new class which we couldn’t make, didn’t respond to my final message, so we left, thank goodness we did, she’s now at a better club interested in pushing her ability, apparently she’s picked up bad habits due to being left to her own devices. Funnily enough there’s at least 6 other girls at our new club that have all left due to similar reasons.
