   My son has been attending heaton lodge since 9 months old, he has always loved going to nursery, enjoying a range of activities that he will now come home and talk about confidently, he has built really good relationships with the staff that have helped him thrive throughout his journey, he is now in the pre school room, each room and staff in it have helped us meet milestones, reassured us when we have any concerns regarding development and directed us down the correct pathways if needed. He has found some transitions from each of the rooms challenging and the girls in each room have been on the ball with providing reassurance he is okay through regular pictures on the online learning journey. Strongly recommend.

   Sending our daughter here was one of the hardest and most eye-opening experiences we’ve ever had as parents. We trusted this nursery with her care and education, but instead we were left stressed, exhausted, and constantly let down. Her funded hours were often cut with little or no notice — sometimes on the same day. This meant one of us had to give up work because we couldn’t rely on the nursery to actually have her in when promised. We’d go to bed hoping for a small break the next day, only to get a message cancelling her hours again. We were called out of work several times with excuses like “she’s not being herself” or “she has a fever,” only to get home and find her perfectly fine. She came home with unexplained injuries, and when we asked what happened, no one could tell us. On one occasion, she wasn’t even given comfort — staff refused to pick her up “because it was too warm outside” The final blow was when her long-time key worker was dismissed after safeguarding concerns raised by children — yet we were never given a clear explanation about what had happened. All of this left us drained and feeling like our daughter’s needs were never truly seen or supported. What should have been a safe, nurturing place for her early education instead became a constant source of stress and worry. I wouldn’t want any other parent to go through what we went through here.

   Worst nursery in the Area. No wonder why previous staff who worked there have so much negative feedback about nursery. Unfortunately, what I have witnessed raises concerns that these needs are not being adequately met.If you have child who is non-verbally speaking "Avoid this nursery all cost" same staff unprofessional and needs a lot more training done. Communication is very poor level at this nursery. Senco (BECKY) is very unprofessional. When my current nursery asked to provide report what they supposed to do legally "all evidence suppose to be sent" they haven't send straight away took 6-8 weeks to sent it because she was on Holiday. Funny thing that management haven't had access to her reports etc. And when report finally been sent is just shocked me ( it looked like is been done in the rush and on the same day as been asked) and they still haven't sent all evidence. Just shocking to be fair.

   From the start to present this nursery has been absolutely outstanding!! My child smiles from ear to ear when we walks through the doors. They’re such a great team and all work brilliantly to provide the best care for the children they look after. My child loves is carers so much and each and every one of them make time to bond and connect with each child. I couldn’t recommend this place more! I feel at ease knowing he’s safe and protected there and most importantly having fun, learning new skills and making new friends.

   My daughter went to Heaton Lodge from being 9 months to age 4 and loved it. The staff are fantastic, and the nursery is very flexible and accommodating. She was sad to leave. I would highly recommend it.
