Good place for short stay , big room with AC . you have everything you need in the room even complementary coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. The only thing I didn't like is that there is no elevator nor someone to help you with the luggage especially if you are staying is higher floor.
Location: 1/5 — The hotel is located right above a pub with very loud live music. We couldn't rest properly during our stay. We wish they had informed us beforehand. If it's something they can't control, the least they could do is show some decency and let guests know in advance. Service: 1/5 — The staff in reception were playing loud videos, talking and laughing out loud in the middle of the night — as if the music from the pub shaking the walls wasn't enough. Thank you very much for that. The only reason we did not complain was because another customer did it right before us. Room: 3/5 — The room itself was okay. Nothing special, just a basic room. No windows, though. Unfortunately, the overall experience was already ruined. If you're planning to get some rest, avoid this place at all costs. And before they respond saying they can’t control the noise from the street — that’s not the point. It’s about having the decency to be honest. Guests pay to stay at your hotel, trusting you over other options. Let people know there is a very loud pub directly below the hotel with live music until late at night. Stop talking and laughing out loud in the middle of the night next to customer rooms. Be honest. Be respectful. Think about the people who are placing their trust in you.
Great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful city and friendly people. We will definitely come back.
Close to Railway Stations and Night Life. Large room and bathroom Clean Room, Comfy Bed, Cheap Price. Reception Staff top marks. Above pub which opens till late, But if you want a great room close to the action, this is the place.
Really great location beside both train stations. Stayed by myself when heading to a course outside Liverpool which it was perfect for. Dealt with Conor and Ben on the front desk and they were really lovely and helpful! I asked to switch rooms for the noise and it was no problem. Really nicely finished comfortable rooms. I'll stay again. Excellent value. Noise to be expected for such a central location but with headphones not a problem.
Excellent location in the heart of all the bars and eateries and the brilliant shopping centre right on the doorstep.Young lady on reception was kind and helpful , room was modern and spotlessly clean. If you have mobility issues I'd ask for a lower floor as we had 3 flights of stairs to climb. Overall we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely return without a doubt.
Excellent staff who are genuinely very friendly. Room was flawless and the location was perfect for us. Extremely good value for money and we will be booking again when we eventually return to Liverpool :)
Very handy location and all staff are beyond lovely - they're so friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely furnished and all have TVs, free water, tea and coffee facilities and air con. I think a hairdryer was available but I didn't find it in the room so I guess I had to ask for it, but I went without and that wasn't a problem. The hotel is up some stairs so it's not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We were completely forewarned about the music from the bar downstairs which I really appreciated. I wore my earplugs but it still took me a long time to sleep - that said, over my 3 night stay I got more used to it and started to sleep better. My 3 year old daughter didn't notice the noise at all! Good value hotel in a really central location, and I'd happily return.
We are a middle aged couple and like to eat, drink, be merry and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. Location is great right in the heart of the action. Reception are friendly and very helpful, rooms are very clean and have air condition and a great shower. Beds very comfortable and lots of space although we did have a room with a double and bunk beds. Walk down the stairs and you are in to the Irish bar with live music 7 days a week. Eateries are plentiful as are the bars on your doorstep. Reception advised us to get a 2 day open top hop on hop off bus tour as it included a river cruise along the mersey. At £22 each it was a bargain and we took full advantage and saw plenty of the city. If there were one consideration to think about I'd say be aware you are above a bar and the music goes on into the night. That being said we were on the first floor directly above the bar and although we could here the tunes we had no trouble drifting off. We are definitely staying there again. Word of warning... dont get tempted to stay at the Adelphi, yes its a bit cheaper and it looks grand but its awful according to guests we met on the tour bus.
The room was spotless and modern and the staff were very helpful. It was close to all amenities and it was a lovely walk down to the docks. There was some noise from the pub underneath but it was turned off at a reasonable time and we all had a good nights sleep.
