   Laura at HFL was a pleasure to work with through a very difficult time, and the whole team pulled out all the stops when it was needed. One of the main strong points was that Laura always responded quickly (unlike the other side) and if she was unable to, this was made clear. She was also very reassuring when I needed emotional support. The fees involved in divorce, especially if it goes to court, are astronomical, and I cannot make comparisons; all I can say is that HFL kept me fully informed of the situation regarding anticipated costs and the likely benefits of continuing. The comments we had from the other side regarding Laura's tenacity and acumen were testimony to her as a solicitor. I would recommend her and her team highly .

   I was represented by Laura Mounsey in my 2+ year long divorce (as respondent) and always found her to be supportive, professional and thorough. In contrast it did seem that my ex wife was poorly represented by another firm, with lots of delays, incomplete work and errors - which in turn gave Laura more to chase and rectify. I did take exception at the firm increasing their hourly rates substantially when I was part way through the process - it is always difficult to switch lawyers mid stream and while the total cost is inevitably linked to the complexities of each case I felt the fee rate increase should not have been applied to existing clients who were mid divorce.

We won our case thanks to her attention to detail and ability to help me through the complicated, stressful process. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing to go through the family courts, you will not find a more personable solicitor than Laura. I will finish by saying I am beyond relieved that we won our case and that the experience is behind me, but I miss my interactions with Laura. She is a lovely and impressive human!

   I was really impressed by the team at HFL during my divorce. They were excellent from start to finish, with excellent advice and support. As well as communicating clearly throughout, and providing superb advice, they were also empathetic and good at listening and understanding how stressful the situation was. I mainly dealt with Andrew Meehan and Emma Doughty, who were fantastic. They responded quickly and flexibly whatever happened and gave very good, calm, clear advice.
