We had a pleasant stay at Staycity Aparthotels Liverpool Waterfront and found it to be a great choice for families. The room was spacious and the small kitchen (with a hob, microwave, fridge, sink, and etc.) was incredibly handy when travelling with a baby. The cot and high chair were already set up in the room when we arrived. The location is excellent, close to everything we needed, and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. The secure car park (£15 per night) was useful, though we did have to ring reception each time for the gate to be opened when arriving by car. Breakfast was fair with limited choices, but the pancake machine and the coffee machine that could make foamed milk (babycino) made our toddler very happy. One thing that would have improved the stay is having a kid bathtub in the room. However, the biggest issue, was the lift situation. Only one lift was working, and even though we stayed from Sunday to Monday (typically a quieter time), we still had to wait a long time every time we went up or down. Overall, a good family-friendly stay with excellent location and helpful amenities.

My second time staying at this hotel - and I will keep coming back whenever I’m in Liverpool. The rooms are really nice and well equipped, the staff is friendly and the downstairs bar has amazing drinks. During my second stay, we got a complimentary room upgrade which I’m really thankful for :) The location is also a plus - very close to the docks, close to the city center, a straight drive from the airport as well.

Came here for a weekend break with family staff lovely especially lady on reception with long dark hair tied back and zeana and her mum Jackie who was amazing, Clean hotal, breakfast was nice great choice ive never seen a pancake maker or a boiled egg machine in a hotal, Nice to have a laundry room but I needed to do a emergency wash in the night and felt vulnerable to go to a shop as i dont know the area and I asked if there was any detergent to have but no was offered washing up liquid no thank you think it be nice to have this as there was othere items to buy , A bit disgusted by the charge for the carpark think that should be in the cost of the price the ground floor is low our airal was scraping the roof and it was tight to get around Will stay here again felt safe as you needed your room card to activate the lifts and get through the doors on the stairs Nice to have a mini kitchen in the room if you didnt fancy going out or holidaying on a budget Bathroom was nice , Great location for where we needed to be

Could not find fault if I tried really hard, had the pleasure of a 2 night stay at this beautiful hotel. Perfectly located for a city visit as it's situated bang centre of Liverpool, all staff were courteous, extremely professional and happy to help with any query and knowledgeable about any and all points of interest for tourists. I will most definitely use here again.

Stayed at the waterfront apartments as our son was getting married nearby. Great location. Plenty of places to eat within a mere few minutes walk and so close to the waterfront. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Two bed apartment with additional sofa bed. Very very spacious and spotless! Will be back

Cannot say enough good things about Staycity Aparthotels. We discovered them during a trip to Dublin a few months ago and have since gotten to stay at a few of their different locations. We're just wrapping up our stay at Liverpool Waterfront, and our experience has been outstanding. The facility is nice, clean, and it's such an ideal central location that's just a short walk from the River Mersey, Albert Dock, Cavern Club/Matthew Street, and all kinds of great food and nightlife. The staff is warm, helpful, and lovely per usual. Lydia spent so much time giving us great intel about the area and really solid recommendations. When myself and my co-traveler missed our reservation for the Magical Mystery Tour due to an unexpected delay (and being geographically challenged) Lydia was instrumental in saving our trip. She helped us secure an additional night at the hotel for a reasonable rate so that we could catch it on the next day. Kerry is also wonderful. Every interaction we've had with her and the rest of the staff has been positive. Staycity does an awesome job hiring great people, and creates a cozy, inviting vibe at any I've been. Can't wait to check out more of them and definitely recommend this place to anyone considering their options for a Liverpool visit.

Check in was easy and quick. When we arrived everything had been prepped. We included the car park fee in the price - well worth it. The location is spot on - central and no noise! The staff were very kind and welcome. The room is massive and had all the equipment you need. Most importantly it was all in very good condition and clean! It was hard to find anything to pick on. We really enjoyed the stay and cannot recommend this place more. It is really fantastic. Now what took us by surprise was that we need the car park for another 4-5 hours after the check out time and when we offered to pay the staff said it is not a problem all to to leave it for a bit longer and no charge. Not very often you get such kindness and generosity.

Nice room and reasonable price BUT... awful customer service from "Rebecca". My room key wouldn't work on my second night (which isn't a big deal really) but when I went down to speak to her about it she was so horrible about it. She more or less accused me of not having a room whatsoever just because I didn't know if it was room 313, 315 or 317, despite the fact I had the key (which didn't have a number on and didn't work with any of the rooms; I checked). She really ruined the night for me; fair play if you hate your job but don't take it out on us!! Nasty lass.
