I did an apprenticeship and learned nothing. I had to learn by myself watching Video's. My mentor at work did a better job of teaching me. As for my assessor, he wasn't very helpful. On multiple occasions I emailed him with my work and didn't get a response for months and sometimes got the blame for doing the wrong work when they told me that's the assignment that I had to do. In general, your better of learning from watching Youtube, and it's free. I wouldn't recommend this college unless you enjoy wasting a few years of your life and thousands of pounds if your over 19 years old.

Legends say that there is a terror that lurks the loos of the Bishop building... He goes by many names... The Red Rustler, terroriser of toilets, lord of the ladies lavatories and the priest of pee. This folklore monster once appeared at the Tobie Norris pub in Stamford to do an unspeakable act. Now he lurks right here in the Lincoln College Lavatories.

I have to raise serious concerns about the standards within this college’s construction department. ( particularly the painting and decorating )Too often, complaints go unanswered — emails are sent, but when followed up on, the response is simply “oh, sorry, we forgot .” There is one tutor in particular whose conduct is especially troubling. This individual has been heard labeling students as “stupid,” telling them they “won’t get far,” and frequently using foul language. When challenged, he becomes red-faced, sulks like a child, and shows no ability to hold a professional, adult conversation. I have personally witnessed this behavior. Rather than taking accountability for his poor professional conduct, he chooses to blame the college’s lack of resources and staffing. In all my experience, this is some of the worst behaviour I have ever seen from an educator. Parents — I strongly urge you to explore other colleges for construction courses. Sadly, this department is failing its students, and the environment is simply not fit for purpose.

I have completed two online courses with this college, and my experience has been nothing short of excellent. They were always prompt in their responses, and I received a great deal of support from both the tutors and progress coaches. Even when I had to extend my submission deadlines due to work, life, and online studies, they were understanding and accommodating. I first enrolled after being referred by Free Online Courses UK, and for my second course, I applied directly through their website—both processes were smooth and hassle-free. I truly appreciate how well they manage everything, ensuring students have the support they need to successfully complete their courses. I’m more than happy with my experience and highly recommend them!

Lincoln College is very welcoming to visitors. It also has a student common room and has facilities such as free tea and coffee for break and lunchtime.

This college I’m on the course supported internship is the worse one I have been on at the college they don’t keep us informed and give us no support to Special needs students on this course we was late starting placements because the tutor was poorly and we struggle in lessons. I can’t attend college for a bit now because they said I’m not fit to be at college or placement I’m bored at home looking at bedroom walls and they are taking it out on me because of my special needs and when I told Michelle student services she laughed at me which I did not find funny. The only thing what was good about this course was meeting my friends Ryan and Charlie but that’s it really, they also don’t know how to deal with safeguarding situations and the boss of supported education doesn’t seem to care. And after when this course finishes soon we look for jobs are self with no help from the college staff just left and my friends agree on the course I do not recommend Lincoln College special Needs students for studying as they are not trained very well to deal with them and I also don’t recommend the supported internship course. ( Andrew Steward Supported Education Manager ) Michelle Ransbottom did neglect me because of my special Needs They are also refusing to give my items from college also I recommend YPLP as they treat you better

You want to actually have a good time and get the qualifications you want? Don't come here. They offer no support for struggling students and instead just leave them behind. They also do not offer any support if they've cancelled your next course. Do not come here.
