I experienced probably the worst customer service I've ever experience through this hotel. At 8:30pm the night before we were meant to travel up from Bristol to Liverpool I got an email to inform me that the hotel had cancelled our booking. When I rung the hotel about this they told me it had not been open to the general public for a week. When I asked why i was only told the night before we were meant to travel 4 hours to come to Liverpool I wasn't even greeted with an apology. I was told I could see if their sister hotel had any availability for us to stay. So instead of being in bed getting a restful nights sleep before my trip I had the burden and stress of seeing if there was any space for us at the new hotel which we needed because of their negligence. They didn't have any space at their sister hotel and was told by the manager that the police were there at the time I called so he would need to call me back. I told him not to bother as we had dodged a bullet and would find somewhere else to stay. Long story short don't stay here unless you want it cancelled the night before and you won't even get an apology.

First of all my check in was supposed to be at 3pm, I arrived in reception at 2 30pm and the staff said my room would be ready ONLY AT 5pm. It’s totally disgusting after a 4 hours driving from my town to Liverpool someone says something like that. I’d been waiting at the reception area to my room get ready, and the receptionist said I couldn’t stay there as It wasn’t a waiting area. He said I had to leave the hotel and come back at 5pm. I didn’t have a place to go, if my room had been ready I would be in the room, not at the reception. After all I entered in the room. It was the dirtiest room I have ever seen. I couldn’t believe that it was truth. The bathroom was smelling really bad. The matters was terrible. The furnitures was older than mine grandma’s house. The floor was quite dirty as well. So, baddest experience I have ever had.

It was disgusting! No mirror or soap. 1 towel. A sofa with white & brown stains on. Marks on the walls. Cigarette burns & stains on the carpets. We paid for 2 nights but left after half an hour to find somewhere clean. I would give it -10 out of 10. The place needs closing down. There are no words or adjectives i can think of to describe how bad it is. It made us feel sick!!

Firstly the good point - the gentleman on the reception was friendly and helpful. On eventually finding the hotel we were greeted with the site of a building looking a little worse for wear in a run down area, once you enter the building and walk up the stairs you are meet with a horrible stench that may be coming from the pile of waste bags next door. The rooms were basic and not very clean with dirt on the walls, radiators and bathroom floors, the whole place looks to have been done up on the cheap and is now falling apart as you will see from the photos, good luck getting WiFi on the top floor and if you time the shower right it is great otherwise you can forget getting any water. Thank goodness the bedding was clean or we would have left. May have been a nice place when it opened but not anymore. Like other mention it is not very safe to be outside in the evening and best to get taxis rather than walk, will definitely not be staying here ever again.

hotel was in a horrible scruffy area. the whole place smelt horrible like it was filled with chloroform. room was all dirty and full of dust on every single appliance, hair in the bathroom. the noise was unbearable as its right by the street. at the night i felt like i was being stalked by the owner right outside the room door. absolutely horrible place. do not book this but if you do and if you decide to go out in the evening better call taxi and only come out the door when it has arrived as its very risky to step outside after 8pm.. there was absolutely nothing to see either, no bars no restaurants or any attractions near. just a disgrace. it should not be a hotel. also the stairs were so steep that if you had one drink too many and fell you would end up breaking your bones.

Simple hotel, run down area - No1 issue with the hotel is the surrounding area. Doesn't feel very safe outside the hotel. Was nervous about leaving my car outside on the street next to the hotel (hotel ensures cctv keeps vehicles secure...). It was very difficult to find, had to get out on foot to find a small sign above the entrance. The room looked very good in pictures and was ok considering price. However, temperature was extremely warm especially after showering. I don't think ventillation was very good in the rooms, the bathroom smelt damp and often of smoke. Other than that I think the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. However, the low-price we paid was not enough to justify not staying with a chain in the city centre for a little bit more. Overall disappointed that I chose this hotel.

Booked this hotel as it was very affordable. The room was very small about a foot of space around the bed. The bathroom was decent. Although close to the centre the area was unattractive and noisy. But there was a bus stop outside the hotel. The staff where welcoming but unprofessional. Worth going if your looking for a cheap stay for 1 night.
