  1. TOMMY Lee Lynch ★★★★☆

Cosy and quiet. I like it. Staff are friendly and the place is clean. I have no complaints.

  2. Gill Hall ★★★★★

I was booked into the lodge for more than 3 months I found a standard very high very clean staff very pleasant Andrew who works for Paul very helpful

Zero stars. Was refused checking-in (they didn`t event let me in the place so had to call from the cold street to the owner ), and all this while I had a prepaid booking! I confirm the owner is exceptionally rude ( i easily see where such treatment could enrage a customer but i was calm in fact). He didn`t listen to me, started to interrupt and telling me to shut up on the phone repeatedly and hanging up the phone then texting me to shut up. While I let him know there was no need to talk to me like that. He believed i was interrupting him and gave me a lecture that in this country they wouldnt do it so i should shut up and listen. This became old very soon and I went to another hotel nearby. I was on a business trip and this needless to say wasted some of my time and was somewhat stressful. DO NOT book you can arrive there and be refused checking in. If thats fine with you, you love trying then to get your money back from your bank/paypal and you love hearing someone shouting at you, yes then you will probably like it. avoid at all costs, seriously, pretty dodgy

  1. Rags Vags ★☆☆☆☆

Basic rooms with sink. Only one room has ensuite, but when booking you need to ask for it. Very dated decor. Shared shower and toilets. Ok for a cheap alternative or an emergency. On main road so bus into city centre was easy to catch.

  2. Meg Thomas ★★★☆☆

Quite an odd set up. It's like it's in an old house. The parking is just on the street but the B&B does have CCTV. The beds were fairly comfortable and the place was clean, breakfast was okay. We only spent a few hours there and just slept and it was fine for that. Staff seemed nice enough.

  1. Happy Birthday ★☆☆☆☆

Pathetic.. very rude owner. Booked to a location in Liverpool and when arrived there is no one to answer the door then a lady comes from somewhere and told me my room is moved to other location (without notified). The Asian owner is so rude. This b & b is like a jail. There are warning sign posted everywhere, feels like I am in a jail. I won’t recommend anyone to book thins b&b. Also in the morning the girls pushed me to checkout and keep coming at my door to check if I am out. No laisure what so ever. Most importantly when I booked it was attached bathroom toilet but when I arrived it not so if you guys book make sure you call the rude owner and confirm.

  2. North Wales Locations (NorthWalesLocations.co.uk) ★☆☆☆☆

To be fair, it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, we felt it was overpriced, having stayed in a small box room that only just fitted the double bed and had no window. The bed was uncomfortable, it was noisy due to rowdy guests arriving throughout the night. Breakfast was plain and uninspiring in a tiny kitchen diner, and many other guests went for the nearby MacDonald' s breakfast! The location is around 25 minutes walk from the city centre. All in all a disappointing and overpriced, but one-off experience. Sorry to be so negative, but that's what we felt.
