    When I was dealing with (executing) my mother’s will as executor, I found Richard Crowther extremely helpful, willing to answer my few queries and give information without an invoice. The will had been made with him many years ago. I’ve recently updated my own will with him and it was both efficient and economical. Unlike the previous company that I used.

    Dreadful shocking service from the wills department supposed to be handling my step fathers will, and the freehold was meant to be passed onto my mother, 7 years later they still have not sorted it. they have asked for a lot of personal information to verify my mothers identity, and they still do not seem to know what they are doing. They may just about be competent to handle a simple will -but anything more complicated I would leave it to a more professional law firm. One solicitor Richard Crowther was shouting at me on the phone in an unprofessional manner about what I had written on a form -I was only following the original freehold form which if they had looked at stated the information I provided they asked to see the original free hold form which we provided them with a copy in advance. Choose another firm and save yourself the hassle I would like to leave no stars but can not

    Set up a meeting for 1pm after taking the afternoon off work to be told the meeting couldn’t take place as the person representing me was now busy. No phone call to let me know in advance and a waste of time and afternoon off. 4 phone calls with message to solicitor to return my phone call to talk about my case, with no response after 1 month.!! Absolutely shocking behaviour, avoid at all costs!!

    Applied for vacancy with this Company and was informed that a phone interview would follow(by an agent before selection by way of formal interview). I was informed that my CV was impressive ! thus my selection. Despite informing the selection agent to contact me on my landline he failed to do so! and thereafter failed to provide any feedback re my suitability ? I foolishly reapplied for same vacancy in a different branch and despite feedback (perfect match and very impressive CV ) was not selected! I can only assume that my age played a major factor in their consideration as without feedback this is the only conclusion I can make.

    Just a shocking company when i paid them £1000 they said they would help then after 5 weeks nothing ? would not see me and would not help anymore rude and kept 600 for the pleasure or 1 email absolutely gutted i waisted my time with them i would not recommend them to anyone just use someone else

    We have been fortunate enough to have Michael Hurford acting as my daughter’s solicitor.. She was subject to an unnecessary CTO in the community which she has now been discharged from as a direct result of Michael and his firm’s outstanding and professional support. My daughter has Autism and Michael and the whole firm put considerable time into making sure they understood her needs, making necessary adjustments and so facilitating her voice. Nothing was too much trouble for Michael or anyone else I spoke to at the firm. I would also like to make a special mention of Alison Reed who is Michael’s PA. She always went the extra mile to support us through this very difficult time. I would thoroughly recommend Grahame Stowe and Bateson to everyone. Thank you again.
