Rooms was pretty basic but I didn't mind too much. Was just happy they were clean. Only problem was there was no ventilation in the room or in the bathroom so it would get quite steamy and it would've been nice to open the window and get fresh air during the day. It is next to a karaoke bar downstairs and it is very loud but they don't go all night. I slept with earplugs fine. It is crappy but it is the city and that comes with a lot of noise anyway. Check-in and out process is simple, no fuss.

I arrived really late and the receptionist was exceptionally kind and helpful—especially since I’d made a bit of a mistake and booked the wrong year! Thankfully, the reception team saved the day. The rooms are basic but perfectly fine for a couple of nights, and the price was originally very reasonable. The location is excellent, with shops, bars, and restaurants just a short walk away, and the docks close by as well.

Location is ideal, very central and walking distance from the train station, bus stops and the centre of town. Staff are friendly and let me leave my luggage when I arrived earlier than check in time. Stayed in room 22, it was basic and a little run down but was clean. The bed was really comfy though. The shower took a little while to get hot but did get there and stayed hot. The room was very warm despite the window being open. I was also not able to open the blinds as they were broken. There is a karaoke bar below the hotel which was crazy loud across the whole first floor of the hotel. However, this runs from 3pm - 10pm so didn’t cause me any issues when trying to sleep but is something to bear in mind if you like an early night/afternoon nap. The hotel would also benefit with a door between the reception area and the 1st floor rooms as the noise from reception (phones ringing, people checking in etc) can be heard very easily in the room. This particularly is an issue early in the morning, I was woken up on both mornings by this noise from reception. Would be handy to have a full length mirror in the room/around the hotel somewhere too. There isn’t a lift which may cause accessibility issues. Overall, it was fine. I barely spent any time in the room anyway and you shouldn’t too if your coming to Liverpool cause it’s the best city in the world.

Very basic but it’s what you pay, clean and the ladies in the day are VERY helpful, man of evening not so much. If you have a room on the first floor same level as reception is located you will have very loud music, karaoke and sound like they are in your room. Room 22 is bad for noise and rattling window. We also had room on the floor above and was quiet. Did move my friend for second night and she slept a lot better. One pillow so if you like to sleep with more maybe ask for more.

Difficult to find. I first ended up in a bar downstairs, as there was no clear signage for the hotel. Check-in wasn't welcoming, and my first room was right above the bar: very noisy, plus the door didn't lock. I had to insist to be moved to another room, which was thankfully quieter. The new room had no privacy (full view from neighbouring building, even in the bathroom), no way to open the windows, and poor sound insulation. Shower pressure was very low. Overall okay for one or two nights max if you just need a place to crash. One the plus side, the morning receptionist was muchly friendlier. About 10min walk from the train station

Filthy dirty and noisy. Bed linen hadn't been changed. Bed and floor covered in hair. Changed the bed myself. Wanted to vacuum the floor but they didn't have one! Chinese kitchen underneath room mayhem. Stay away. Waste of money.

The hotel is well suited for the center of Liverpool with very easy access to it from both train stations and then to the shops and bars. The reception staff are friendly and efficient especially with check in. The rooms are better than what you might expect for the price they are charging, but you aren't paying top prices, so there are minor issues that given the location and price make it an OK place for a short stay.

Firstly, the staff were pleasant. At first sight it looked refurbished and and clean enough, but the toilet in the room was full of...! The nice lady in reception moved me to a different room without quibble - which was clean, but cramped. Then I ended up being kept awake until 15.45 by the noisy air conditioning unit outside (when it stopped) and really couldn't wait to leave first thing. The location is handy for the airport bus and it's just about bearable as a crash pad for one night as it's cheap, but nothing more. If you intend to stay a few days, find somewhere else.

Room was clean, spacious and comfy bed and good shower! Everything you want at excellent price, even had complimentary biscuits. Location to Lime Street brilliant literally 5 minutes walk. Only down side is if on top floor there are no lifts. Regardless we will book again and was excellent value for money

Stayed last night 24/10. Staying in room 21 with my young daughter. On arrival room was very clean, small walk to Liverpool one. Although there was a hole in the ceiling. One of the bed frames on the material had a slit from one side to the other. I noticed that the door did not lock from the inside, although there being a lock to lock it. I mentioned this to reception and they spoke with the manager who said they would send someone while I was out to sort it. On return this had not been done, I asked the receptionist who said someone couldn’t come tonight but it would be tomorrow, I said this wasn’t good enough as I didn’t feel safe not being able to lock the door internally. She rang her manager and he was stating that you can’t lock the door from the inside due to fire safety, although I asked another family staying there and seen them be able to lock the door internally, they also attempted to try and lock this. I was assured by the manager that we would be safe in this room and no one would try to enter. I decided to stay as my car was locked in the car park at this point. All was well till approximately 1:30 am when I could hear footsteps to the door and the beeping of the door and someone opened the door and shouted someone’s in here as I was getting out of bed. Immediately shut the door properly which had not been done, this woke my daughter and frightened her . Next minute the door opened again to a man at the door (believed to be the night porter) which was immediately closed. As all this happened I did not sleep at all for the rest of the night. Because I was with my daughter I could not leave her alone in the room and go and speak to the reception team at this point. But I have raised these concerns this morning 25/10 to the staff member on the reception , they stated it had been handover and was a mistake as the night team thought the room was empty. So all in all I did not feel safe in this room to begin with but after being reassured I felt slightly better, but after this incident 100% would of left if I could of got my car. I 100% would not stay again!
