    After looking online for sofas went over to DFS on Sunday to have a look and try out some different types. Walking round they had an amazing range of all types in store to try. After deciding which ones I preferred spoke to Moez and he went through all the relevant features and pricing etc. Then had a hot chocolate (which was banging by the way) next done the payment and arranged the delivery options. He said that I could get them delivered within 2 weeks which was brilliant (the actual sofas turned up 5 days later on Friday) Met up with the guys from WS TRANSPORTATION and they assembled the sofas very quickly and efficiently with absolutely no mess whatsoever great team ! This has been a really good purchasing experience from start to finish. Very pleased and would recommend ā˜†ā˜†ā˜†ā˜†ā˜† Tony

    After waiting a month longer than the expected delivery our sofa finally arrived. However, on arrival the recliner mechanism was broken. We were advised that a tech would repair the recliner the following week. After 3 appointments for the tech to replace the faulty mechanism no one arrived and we have been left with a 20kg box in our livingroom for weeks! I have asked numerous times for the sofa to be collected as it was not fit for purpose, all my requests have been ignored and offered a hamper as compensation. This ordeal has been ongoing for over 3 months now and DFS are refusing so acknowledge us. The hardest part is dealing with this post partum after birth complications, which is the whole reason we bought a reclined sofa, to aid in my recovery!

    Great service delivered by the guys at Watford DFS. I was initially greeted by Humza who introduced me to Kalpa. She said she would assist me on purchasing the sofas I wanted. Straight away she offered me a cup of tea or coffee. She told me to take a seat on the sofa I was looking to buy and she was going to get my coffee and get a tablet so she could order my sofa. Have to say Kalpa's customer service was absolutely amazing. She was very polite and engaging. Explained everything in detail, showing me different quality of fabric which I could choose from. Just felt really reassured with everything she was saying. It didn't sound like a generic sales pitch, but very personal taking into account everything I was saying. Explained the process from delivery, finance and the warranty of the sofa. Honestly I could go on. Just a great team of people who just made everything simple. From Humza, Kalpa and Brian, it just felt I knew them a lot longer than just meeting them on the day. They are a great asset to DFS and we need people like them more in all retail. I'll definitely be coming back again or recommending them to friends and family. Date of experience: 28 January 2023

    Store itself is perfectly fine and staff are welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the communication from the company themselves is atrocious! Failed delivery's and collections due to no communication or cancellation on DFS part with also no communication.

    Worst experience and a complete waste of our money and time!! We ordered our sofas In June and didn't get them till late September. When they arrived the one-seater was faulty and did not recline and the 3-seater had marks on it. Bear in mind that these are cream leather sofas. After reporting the issue, someone from dfs came to look at the fault and marks, he said he removed the marks but when i got back home from work the stains where still very visible! I didn't pay over £3k for faulty and marked sofas! We were told on 13.10.22 that the spare part for the one-seater will take 15 weeks to arrive. This is absolutely ridiculous. It took a month past the delivery date to receive our sofas and if it wasn't for us chasing up the matter, we wouldn't have received them at all. NO ONE FROM THE STORE HAS BEEN IN CONTACT DESPITE OUR COMPLAINT... We have sent several emails to the complaints department and no one has done anything! AVOID DFS!! I WILL HAVE TO GO TO THE STORE DIRECTLY TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE!

    Absolutely awful experience! Brand new sofa delivered February 2021! Within 6 months sofa split down the seems. Was told in September 2021 DFS have ordered a new seat and will be delivered within 4/6 weeks. After requesting a manager call 10 times and 35 emails. DFS have not returned, they know the sofa is split and have not returned calls or emails. Have now reported to trading standards and will now be taking legal action. Awful experience please anyone using this company please be careful.
