Schofield Sweeney has been incredible. After the experience I’ve had, even though I live 45 minute from Huddersfield, I would never use another firm. SallyAnn has been incredible throughout our whole move process which threw so many curveballs. She was professional, calm and honest from start to finish.
Do avoid this company, all they’ve done is waste my time. Not answering calls, if they do no one is available to talk as no one seems to be in office. It’s taken too long to do a simple job. Do not recommend Lucy.
I bought a house nearly 3 years ago now and used these to help me complete the purchase only to find out 3 months ago that the house was grade 2 listed and I was never told. It was never discussed at the time and now I'm told it was in the information. I should have read it. Being a normal working man I don't really get all the technical jargon that Solicitors speak so I didn't know. I feel it should really merit a conversation of its own. That a property isn't a normal purchase. I'm now in trouble with my local council and I am not happy. My appointed solicitor didn't really work for me I don't feel. Be wary of this happening to you. Unless you actually fully read page 12 sub section 3 and understand it. I trusted the process to point things out and fully guide me. Now I'm being inspected and have been told I could possibly face prison time. Read all fine print and be careful.

Not our solicitors but our buyer is using them. We have still not exchanged contracts after 5 months as they take weeks and weeks to reply. We suggested a completion date 3 weeks ago and we have had nothing from them still. Our new build is almost ready and we could be stuck here for ages because of the lack of urgency of SS.
