Nice reception staff, who looked very festive in their Christmas jumpers! And the hotel was clean and welcoming. The room was a bit tight with the be hemmed in on 3 sides and at 6 feet 3 inches I kept hitting the wall at the bottom of the bed. On the plus side the shower was large, powerful and hot! I would return but ask for a larger room. The location is great, right next to Bold Street.

Just home from my 3rd stay at this wonderful hotel. This time I travelled with my 7 year old son and I cannot recommend it enough. From booking to leaving for home the staff at the resident couldn’t have done more for us. I requested a ground floor room as my son won’t go into lifts and this request was accommodated with no issues. The staff were so welcoming when we arrived. Our flight was early which meant we had hours to wait before our room was ready. The lovely lady at reception made me a cup of tea and my son a hot chocolate while we waited. Then we got our room which was ideal as we were going to an event at midday and wanted to freshen up. When we got into our room I was delighted with how clean and welcoming the room was. The staff had also left a card for us with a lovely message inside. After a long day we then got back to the hotel and enjoyed some complimentary drinks while we rested. In the morning my son ordered a glass of milk from reception which again was no trouble. We then checked out and left our bags for the day while we explored. When we finally returned to collect our bags we were again met with such kindness from the staff who gave us another lovely tea and hot chocolate before we had to leave. It was a wonderful stay from start to finish and I can’t wait to return.

Reviewing this fairly new hotel for my two sons who stayed there. Great position close to everything. Comfortable rooms. Great service. Well insulated and quiet considering its proximity to clubs etc.

Last minute booking. We have stayed at one of The Resident hotels in London a few times before so knew we’d get a great room with great service. We were right. Lovely welcome, really enjoyed the complementary drinks reception early evening. We were also given a free upgrade that made our stay even better. Great nights sleep in a comfy bed. Central location that is close to the docks & shopping areas. Would certainly recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future. Thank you. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great hotel. I had emailed the hotel a couple of times prior to our stay with some questions and they kindly replied within an hour or two with helpful advice. They were able to recommend a great long distance taxi service which was very much appreciated. The staff was kind and helpful during our stay. They gave restaurant recommendations and tips for public transport. The room itself was nice and clean. The hotel is in a great location just minutes away from shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying at The Resident.

If you're looking for a place to stay while visiting Liverpool, then the Resident Hotel is the place to stay. The welcome, care, kindness and outstanding customer service you receive from every team member are exceptional! All the bedrooms are of a high standard, very clean, warm and fitted with a kitchenette. The hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance of the Royal Albert Dock, restaurants, shops, cathedrals, art galleries, museums and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. I love the evening drinks in the main reception as it's an excellent opportunity to meet and mingle with the other guests. I've stayed at The Resident for many years and would never stay elsewhere. The hotel is top-rated, so I recommend booking well in advance.

This was our first family trip to Liverpool even took my little one whos 19 months old. We had to find somewhere close to town so we picked this hotel easy to get by and short walking distance with little one. This hotel has the perfect location and close car park nearby, get discount if you park in the Q-Park Hanover Street if you plan to stay here. We only stayed for one night and the staff's made such warm welcome, friendly and very helpful! Thanks for the card made our stay even more special!! Def will stay here again when we visit next time!! ❤️

Nicely decorated and modern hotel. Very nice that they give a handwritten card on arrival. The staff are very friendly and give you a feeling of coming home. Nice to see that they have a collaboration with restaurants in the area where you also get a discount when you show your hotel key. I'd love to come back again.
