   I have always used Hammonds in my home. Designs are great so as the quality and price. My Designer, Ramsay, always comes up with innovative ideas and design. Equally, Anne the Manager in Bentalls, is very helpful and very knowledgeable with the products and design and her recommendations were really great.

   We ordered a wardrobe for our newborn’s room, and we thought we would get a great service based on all the positive reviews we saw about this company. They sent a surveyor first who took the measurement, then the day of fitting we noticed that they left a visible gap between the wardrobe and the wall (as shown in the pictures below), although in the design they sent us and we agreed on it was shown to be wall to wall. We tried to phone them to ask if they could fix this mistake, they pushed back blaming us for not checking the surveyor’s measurement which were wrong and they kept referring to a clause in their contract relieving them from any fault or damage they caused including incorrectly fitting the wardrobe. After hours of arguing, we agreed to pay again for them to send someone who fixed it in less than two hours proving that the job should have been completed properly in the first place. I do not recommend this company given this terrible incident and we canceled our plans to use them to fit the wardrobes in the rest of the bedrooms.

   Shocking installation by Hammonds wardrobes. Poor fitment, poor customer service. Do not use. We have damaged doors and shelves. Absolutely shocking workmanship

   Anne was so helpful and welcoming from my initial phone call enquiry regarding fitted wardrobes. I did not expect to be able to make an appointment for someone to visit within 4 days. She listened to my requirements, made notes and immediately suggested possibilities in preparation for my visit. I am really hopeful the quote and fitting thereafter will all come together.
