We spent £25,000 on furniture from this company, and now they have completely vanished. No replies, no support, and the store has been closed by the landlord. Absolutely outrageous and unacceptable—beware

I ordered furniture from this company in good faith after being told the delivery time would be 7–10 working days. This was important to me as I had a housewarming at the end of August. A few days later, I was contacted by the delivery company who informed me that my furniture would not arrive until September 3rd — well beyond the original timescale. When I raised my concerns, I was told the 7–10 days was only a “guide” and that nothing could be done. I spoke with a manager (Faisal) who was extremely rude, dismissive, and even told me to “go ahead” when I said I would leave a review, before hanging up on me. I emailed the delivery company on September 2nd to confirm a delivery time but received no reply. I then called repeatedly on the 3rd, but no one answered, not even reception. As of today, my furniture has still not been delivered. This has been a very disappointing experience: misleading delivery promises, unprofessional customer service, and a complete lack of communication. I am now left unsure if the company is even still trading. Furniture still has not arrived !!!

Terrible Customer Service – Avoid This Company I recently purchased two items from this company. The first was a made-to-order item with a 4–6 week delivery window, so I haven’t received it yet. The second was an ex-display light — only after placing the order did I find out there’s no return policy on ex-display items. When I asked about the condition, they simply told me, “You can come see it in the showroom” — not helpful at all when you don’t live nearby. I decided to cancel the second order and that’s where the real nightmare began. I made multiple calls and was repeatedly transferred to voicemail. I left several messages — no response. Eventually, I managed to speak to someone who took the order number and said they’d cancel it and send confirmation. Nothing came. I followed up again and spoke to a different person who promised the same thing — again, no confirmation. I’ve sent over 10 emails, copying every address I could find — sales, delivery, info, client services — not even an automated reply. Nothing. At this point, it feels like the only way to cancel my order is to drive two hours to their location, which is ridiculous. I strongly recommend avoiding this company. You’re better off spending a little more and buying from a reputable supplier like Olivias — they price match, have excellent service, and actually respond to customers.

We ordered a large amount of furniture and were eagerly looking forward to the “white glove” delivery. It was outsourced- and 2 men tried to get the furniture in- and failed. 1. A chandelier we ordered was in a sofa box. I refused to accept it, and it was indeed broken when it went back. When I asked for my money back i was told that no refund was possible but that I could choose another chandelier and an electrician would fit it for me. This is unacceptable - I would like the refund. 2. The dining table was so heavy and long that the 2 delivery men said it would be impossible to get it in and place on the stand without breaking it - so I did not accept delivery - in fact when on the phone to Larkbury at the time, my and the delivery men’s 3m measurement of the length was denied as the Salesman said he could tell by the way “the shadows fell” that it was not 3m! 3. A large sofa was unable to get into our house despite a larger than average doorway. In fact it was so heavy, I had to give the delivery men a hand to get it back in the lorry 4. The other sofa we bought was so large that the men didn’t even try- it was too large to fit In dealing with Larkbury I have found them slow, and despite escalating to a senior manager Mr Paul Brookes, I still do not see the service I expected - I am chasing them. When a complaint has been raised, how can it take 10 days to come back to me AFTER site visit , and not even offer a refund of the broken item. I have lost faith in the service. I will not be using Larkbury again. For the premium price that was paid, even in a sale, I have received a budget service. I would like this to act as a warning other buyers - beware. It looks good, but if anything goes wrong…. As we bought with Amex, I have taken this dispute up with Amex also. I will also be contacting Trading Standards
