   My wife and i planned a night out in Wakefield for NYE 2025 booking transport from the Holmfield Arms in Denby Dale road to Six Chimneys Wetherspoons and later back from Westgate to Holmfield Arms hotel....100% proffesional and prompt service,VERY reasonable prices,VERY easy to book and amend pickup times...never ever had a bad service from this company. 5 stars do not do justice to this company . The drivers are a credit to the company,the office staff are a credit to the company,the chap on the office door is polite and proffesional and clearly the management know how to run a good business and even if their prices were double/ triple what they are we would ,and will always continue to use Ace Taxis .

   Pre-booked a taxi to the airport for the early hours of the morning. Got a confirmation text after booking & a text the morning of to say that the taxi had been dispatched. Taxi actually arrived early & was waiting for us when we came downstairs. The driver was amazing & the taxi was comfortable & very clean. Will defo use these guys again.

   Booked the taxi online, marked paying by cash, there wasn’t a return option so I put in notes that I wanted a return (was just dropping my kid off) and I needed to go back home. Got a message at 7.50am to say driver arrived, he wasn’t here so I phoned the office, driver turned up 3mins later, when I advised him that I needed a return he refused and said I didn’t book a return. I explained that were wasn’t he return option so I put it in notes, he said I should have paid by card then I could have book the return. It was only a 3 min drive (1.30 miles) but he still refused. First time using ace taxis and it will be the last.

   Booked a taxi for 8:30pm. At 8:40, the driver called and seemed to be lost. Last train home to London was at 8.55. An extremely kind stranger at the event gave us a lift instead, and we only just made it. Do not use if you need a reliable lift somewhere on time.

   Booked online, a bit dubious (never done before) & it was 3 minutes late (coach to catch) so, I rang up, msg advised my car was a few minutes away! Lovely driver, helpful & polite, a good experience & definitely book again with ACE. Thank you!

   I want to say a big thank you to driver number 39 for making my new puppy feel safe in the car by going slow and putting my puppy first and asking me if he was ok during the ride to make sure he was calm and not stressed out, So a big thank you to number 39 from ace taxis.

   I was hesitant to use this taxi firm due to some of the reviews but they have been on time and very professional. The drivers have been lovely to talk to and the people on the phone when booking are always pleasant and never rude. They always have a taxi available and i highly recommend them.

   I have never used or booked a taxi by myself before. The online booking was easy and seamless and the taxi turned up exactly on time. Irfan, the driver, was marvellous - pleasant, friendly, chatty, and an excellent tour guide! He definitely had the Wakefield Knowledge. I wouldn't hesitate to ask for him again if I'm ever in the area. I couldn't fault the service with a smile. Thank you, Irfan and Ace Taxis.
