I was warned about Mainline, and I wish I had listened! They are absolutely appalling! Despite calling their office twice in 11 hours, they never sent a car. I even mentioned that one call was very expensive, yet there was no offer to refund. Never again
The call centre staff are unbelievably rude — he shouts at customers and hang up the phone. When I gave up trying to book over the phone and used their website a week in advance, they still claimed at the last minute that no taxis were available. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional service. Please be careful when you want to book a taxi to this company.
Mainline taxis, 10/10 picked us up from Wetherby brought us straight back to our door, lovely drivers, nice cars very clean, the staff on the phones, are so lovely You can keep your Ubers were stickin with Mainline. Great service THANKYOU
I can see why Uber is becoming more popular with the service you receive from this company - I prefer private hire route but expect decent service . This morning trip to LBA with rude driver and dirty car clearly did not want our business (seemed annoyed we were travelling with a child and acted if we didn’t exist) not sure I will choose Mainline again
I was visitor in that town. I took the cab from mini cab office. What I got? Compare to Uber or other cabs that office staff was very friendly and cheap price. Special THANKS to the cab driver. Really gentleman.

I've always had a decent opinion of Mainline Taxis; they have been a part of Harrogate for a long, long time. Last night I had a surprise late night, and decided to walk back from Knaresborough to Starbeck. Halfway home the heavens absolutely opened and I was soaking in minutes. Car 57 from Mainline happened to be driving past, and pulled up. The driver simply said "this weather is awful I'll take you as far up here as I'm going." I only needed a lift about a mile straight up the road - but it's really hard to say exactly how nice that was, and how much it meant to me at the time. These are some tough times, petrol is no cheaper for taxi drivers than it is for anyone else, and I just think this was just a really nice thing to do.
Terrible service. Arrived 45 mins late and no apology. Told by the office, that this was due to heavy traffic, however the driver informed us that he had only just been assigned the job. Possibly avoid if you need to be anywhere on time!
Mainline are reliable, clean, comfortable and very accommodating with bookings. I am disabled and I always feel confident using this service, the drivers ensure I arrive safely and can access my house before they leave. Their attentive service it allows for me to maintain my independence.
