   Got a taxi from Wakefield Westgate station where one of the drivers set up the meter then he couldn’t get out of the parking spot for 2/3 minutes due to traffic. We got one minute down the road and the meter had already gone from £3 to £4 so I asked why, as the meters usually go up due to the distance travelled, not time spent, which he then blamed on me and the fact there was traffic getting out of the station. I then ask him to pull over which he does so i go to get out of the taxi to which he begins to drive, as i’ve got the door open and my leg out of the car, demanding i pay. i did not expect to have to pay ANYTHING for a one minute drive which got me no closer to my destination. he then told me he was taking me back to the station, which again was longer for him to do, then tried scaring me saying he was taking me to the police station. he would not stop and took a longer route so i put £4 on the armrest between the two front seats and told him to pull over, which he did and pulled a dirty look directly at me. i guarantee that the money was pocketed by this driver and not put into the company, since the drive wasn’t even completed. no fault to the company as I use this taxi service weekly when i travel home, although this driver needs to be sacked for this awful treatment. I am a young girl and having an old man drive away in some random direction was massively scary, we was on a MAIN ROAD and he drove when i had the door open and my foot out of the car door. this is ridiculous.

   My suit now needs cleaning. The inside of the car was very dirty, torn seats etc. Won't be using again.

   Fantastic taxi service. Punctual and professional par excellence. Dot on time and need no reminders. The drivers are very kind and well mannered.    I have used Westgate taxis several times for local and long distance, Every time when I booked them, they have turned up on time. Taxis were clean and nice, drivers were friendly and helpful with loading and unloading my luggage. I highly recommend them to use their taxis.
