   Julian was very helpful when I was looking for a desk for my husband's 50th birthday. He took considerable trouble with the measurements as it was a tricky space that the desk was to go in and was very thoughtful about retaining the surprise element and keeping the desk in his shop until I could visit with my husband and show him is birthday present. He then delivered it promptly and re-hung the drawer that hung underneath it on the other side so that it sat better within the room. The piece is stunning, he restored it beautifully and I felt that it was a wonderful gift. I would certainly buy from him again.

   It’s a pleasure to browse at Gonnerman. It’s even better when you find just what you were looking for. I bought a lovely mid century chest of drawers which I’m very pleased with. Julian was very helpful, keeping it for me until I moved flat and with transportation. An even better experience if you walk along the Parkland Walk to get there.

   I have bought several items (chairs, sofa, table stack) from Gonnermann. The pieces are of the highest quality and the upholstery which Julian advises and arranges only enhance them. If only I had the space and money to accommodate more! Julian is so knowledgeable and delightful to deal with and he goes the extra mile (literally) to arrange personal delivery both at home and my office. I have had countless compliments about the pieces.

   We were just on a walk to Highgate when we came across Julien and his shop. A friendly and relaxed welcome with marvellous mid century treasures. Taking our time we found a perfect Danish dining table. Julien is immemsely skilled, courteous, and knowledgeable. We'll be back.

   I’d seen some chairs I loved while walking past and the shop was closed. I checked the website, which is really clear, and received a very speedy response from Julian regarding price. I then visited to make a final decision between 2 chairs. Julian also changed the cushion fillings to suit and had alternative covers had I wanted. All in all a very good experience & I love the chairs.
