   AVOID AVOID AVOID. The owner Jit is a complete disgrace and not fit to be a director or a company. Constant lies and excuses. Took full payment and 26 weeks later no sofa. Feel sorry for store staff as put in an impossible position and should be treated with more respect as should the customers. The other reviews are true - we saw them too late!! Don’t make the same mistake. Worst shop I’ve ever experienced. Shocking.

   We purchased some lovely really items from this company, tables, couches, Chairs, Mirrors, rugs, dog bowls, lamps etc etc . Spent a small fortune. We love everything, however the couch has started to come away in two places, and we look after all our items very well. We have taken photos of the cushions coming apart and have emailed several times, once to the Guildford Branch, and then the general enquiries. No body has bothered to reply... Dissapointed in the lack of customer service and care to rectify what would be a simple fix

   What you can see in store is fine. Do not under any circumstances buy their 'custom' or 'made to order' products. I ordered an Ottoman 1 year ago. I am still waiting and they seem not to know when it will be delivered if at all; and they haven't even communicated this directly to me.

   My experience at India Jane is totally because of a man in Guildford called Stephen. Having been told this item was not available ANYWHERE and having already been sent the wrong colour I didn’t give up and rang the shops. Stephen went beyond and above the normal dismissive answer by really looking and eventually found what I wanted His customer service really made me change my previous opinion of the shop and I shall go back to using it again Perhaps head office although very polite could learn a thing or two about customer service from Stephen. It wasn’t just that he found them but took the time to do his work so well kept me informed and kept looking. I would have given him a good review anyway, but his finding the items was a fine example of what service really means.

   I purchased a large mirror Feb 2020. I was told before lockdown due to covid delivery postponed. I understand this. Very disappointed 3 months on no attempt to update me, I'm unable to contact by phone, email or by going back to store.
