   Absolutely awful experience — avoid Sharps at all costs We ordered office furniture from Sharps and it has been a nightmare from day one. They delivered the wrong items, sent the wrong fitter, and if I hadn’t been home mid-installation I wouldn’t have even caught the mistakes. I had to chase them constantly just to get the basics right. They sent another surveyor… more delays… then the fitter didn’t even show up when rescheduled. When he finally came, guess what? Wrong measurements again. Called the office — re-delivered — still wrong. Even after their management got involved, the chaos continued. We paid nearly everything upfront, and now we’re the ones chasing them because they admit they messed up but still haven’t sorted the refund or completion. All while we’re trying to sell our house and really needed this finished. To top it off, the room is scratched and damaged. They say they’ll cover it if I get an invoice — more hoops for their mistakes. They wasted so much of our time on something that should’ve been simple and stress-free. They spent more effort badmouthing competitors than doing their own job properly. Overpriced and totally unreliable. I would never recommend Sharps to anyone.

   We visited the Bromley showroom on a Sunday. We were greeted by Irene. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She was able to listen and provide a balanced view of what might be needed. We valued here experience and the fact we were able to view the different styles and choices in a ‘real world’ environment. Going online and looking at a brochure sometimes isn’t enough, even though . In contrast the Hamond’s showroom was closed.The fact it was closed helped to make a decision to go with Sharps.

   Recently visited the Sharps showroom in Bromley. Great service and support from Irene. Really helpful with lots of tips and advice. Booked our design visit which was easy. Went back to the showroom to look again at the huge range of colours and styles on offer. Really useful to look in person and see the quality rather than just relying on the brochure/online.

   We booked a home measure and quote on line which went well. But we wanted to see the various colours possible for our shelving. So we went to the Bromley showroom where we met Irene. She was able to show us the range of colours which changed our minds on colour. We were also able to handle the door knows and feel their weight and size, take photos and choose the ones we wanted. We would not of been able to do this solely online. I would want to send a few thousand pounds without that physical contact. But also going into the showroom also gave us a feel for the company. Irene was really helpful, along with Lloyd she was the human face of the company and they were good ambassadors. Finally we got to see the quality of the products in the show room. It gave us the impression this was a quality company.

   We haven’t even had installation and it’s a complete embarrassment. Seriously unprofessional calling us the morning of the fitting, just to tell us it’s going to be the following day. (Arranged carpet fitters, day off work etc..) Such a disappointment and will not use again.

   Account number 6Y9007 Worst experience with Sharps, never use them. We ordered an office room fit out and wardrobes for 3 bedrooms. Each time an installation job was booked in, it was delayed. First installer did a rush job, susbsequent installers didnt turn up, or were not briefed on the requirements. There were several cancellations and uncoordinated delivery of materials. Original estimate for 10 days effort took 10 months and there are still outstanding installation issues. Despite being patient and providing access for multiple remediation attempts to take place, Sharps took for granted our flexibility and goodwill. They are not good for any kind of managed installation, quality of work was very poor eg wrong colour panels, wrong design, shelves not evenly spaced out, shoddy finishing. Installation managers appeared on site attempting to fix things, however only made promises they couldnt follow up on. We will never use big brands again. A smaller company would have done a much better job than this. Waste of time dealing with this company, they cannot be trusted. Account number 6Y9007 for reference.    Took 3 months to install - despite saying would take 1-2 months. Seemed glacial. Poor customisation options. Offered a very good price initially, but after a slight tweak to the order, it became quite expensive. Felt slightly conned. Fitter was untidy - left the rooms he worked in messy (didn't hoover, rubbish on the floor). Wasn't able to review the plans overnight to confirm they were good - had to confirm in person upon initial receipt and all felt very rushed. Led to mistakes. All in, pretty disappointing. We had an independent carpenter fit some other wardrobes in the house at the same time and they did a much better job...
