David & Matt delivered our bed and mattress yesterday (Friday 7th November) ordered from the Beckenham shop. They were extremely efficient, very pleasant and I would give them 5 stars for their helpfulness- many thanks to both of them,
Excellent service and advice provided in store by Steve. Divan and headboard arrived when stated. The delivery guys, David and Rega from Gatwick deliveries were excellent too - very polite, professional and conscientious about not marking the walls or fixtures. Thank-you.
Andy at the shop was super helpful and very patient with my daughter explaining the difference between the type of fabrics she could choose for her divan bed. Delivery service was excellent. The guys rang to tell me 30 minutes before and took the time to get me started on setting it up and then took the rubbish away. well worth it.
So pleased we found MattressMart - David on the shop floor was excellent - very straightforward, good advice and not your typical 'salesman', he genuinely wanted to help us to make the right choice. We bought two mattresses, an orthopaedic double and second regular double for our son, we've had both for a couple of months now and they are performing excellently. Delivery was courteous and dead on time, they carried everything, put in place and took away the old ones.
Absolutely delighted with the ottoman king size bed. The space under the bed is huge and the ease of access pleasing. The mattress is the best we have ever had and so warm!!
Paid deposit but contract re refund cancel not pointed out. Pushy sales place deposit. Went back 1 week later my deposit and refused to refund. They are crooks. Do not trust them. Now they claim Deposit non refundable. ACTUALLY YOU ARE BUT THIEVES CROOKS. READ CONSUMER ACT. ALSO GOODS SALES SERVICE ACT. YOUR STORE FAILED TO POINT OUT CLAUSES OF DEPOSIT SALE CONDITIONS ETC. I BE PUT UP SIGNS .. Quick to push ask deposit and say sign but not point out. I go bring your store down. STOP TRY SAVE YOUR NECK. it does not mean because you exist 100 uears that you are do good. Just that you are Great Con Artist.
Dodgy Crooked Managers. Try day I had special order. I ordered bed as what on display. Not special order. He was push to sign deposit say no problem refund but after 7 days, 14 days, 21 days and months of keep canceling say No my refund THEY NEED MAKE OT CLEAR DISPLAY SIGNAGE DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE. Now Management wanna claims "tens of thousands great reviews here".. Wow.. terrible liars and Goigle needs look into this store. I thinks I be start put up posters soon warn people of them. DODGY SALESFORCE..
I've felt compelled to leave this review as although this purchase was two years ago I see the issue daily. Matress purchased in 2020... First issue started when the Matress arrival date kept getting pushed back and back although I had already paid over £400 upfront When the Matress finally did arrive there was a huge dent at the top... Felt like there were no springs underneath... I contacted them about this and was told to just leave and see how it goes...called again after a couple of weeks and just told me the same thing... Clearly just sold me an overpriced defective Matress... Supposedly worth over £800... Now starting to sag and lose shape all over. I wouldn't go near this shop again unfortunately.
I had a wonderful experience in the shop. Andy was so helpful and friendly. A really nice guy. They have some excellent mattresses. Compared to Dreams and Bensons their mattresses were far more comfortable, especially for people who want something slightly softer but supportive at the same time. They are much more luxurious too.
Needed to change beds so stopped by Hamseys as it's local. Served by Andy who was very pleasant and patiently showed us various options. He also has a sense of humour. We bought 3 beds and headboards, and the delivery came with free set-up. Having had such an excellent service in store we decided to replace existing headboards on other beds. Good prices on all items. The delivery guys were excellent also - they set up all the beds and headboards and took all wrappings away. These are not quite one month in place, so we hope the quality remains as good as the items look.
