Never had any issues whatsoever apart from a few dodgy neighbours, the building definitely needs some work. However the building/site manager Andy goes above and beyond for every single tenant that lives here. He is such an amazing man and I couldn’t imagine Castleview House without him, he pours all of his heart and soul into every single one of us, he cares so deeply about us all and the effort he puts in to make sure we are all safe is admirable. WE LOVE YOU ANDY ❤️

Having called Castleview home for more than a year now, I've seen its ups and downs, especially with the building and community vibes. But there's one constant bright spot: Andy, our maintenance hero. Andy consistently goes the extra mile for everyone here. He's more than just a maintenance guy; he's the heart of Castleview. Seriously, without him, life here would be so much tougher. He looks after us, the residents, not just the building. Andy's always ready to go above and beyond, making a real difference in our lives. Despite any issues with Castleview or its residents, everyone agrees: Andy's amazing. We all appreciate his hard work, kindness, and dedication. If there is one thing we all have in common at Castleview it’s our love for Andy.

I’ve lived in Castleview for over two years, and while there are plenty of challenges with the building itself — both structural and social — one thing has always been crystal clear: Andy, our maintenance guy, is the absolute best part of this place. Andy never fails to go above and beyond for every single resident. He’s not just doing a job — he’s the heart and soul of Castleview. Without him, I can say with full confidence that life here would be a hundred times harder. What makes Andy truly special is his dedication. He doesn’t just look after the building; he looks after the people who call it home. No matter the situation, Andy will always go that extra mile. He shows up, he cares, and he makes a real difference in our daily lives. No matter what anyone says about Castleview, or about the few who cause problems here, there’s one thing everyone agrees on: Andy is incredible. His hard work, kindness, and commitment do not go unnoticed, and we’re deeply grateful for everything he does for us. So a big Thank You Andy!!!!!

Visited a family member here and helped them to move out afterwards. Place stinks of cannabis and half the doors have evidence of them being kicked in. Doors slamming a lot and parking is risky too. I would avoid if possible but some people don't have a choice. Place needs looking into especially by police and environmental health if kids are living here.

I lived here for a year and I had so many issues, contacted the agency and nothing ever got done about it. Had a leak that came from the water heater and I reported it straight away, which affected the electricity and didnt have any leccy for a week another neighbour reported the leak as it was affecting the corridor and low and behold within the next day they finally showed up and turned out the water heater was completely rusted inside and wasnt even connected properly! The floor was all damaged and lifted and the front door could bearly open they was meant to replace the flooring which they never did. The neighbours across from us and downstairs would never stop arguing always had the police around because of it. The amount of times random people would knock on my door at early hours in the morning was pathetic. The water pressure for the shower was awful and the temperature was either freezing cold or boiling hot. Safe to say I'm thankful to have moved out now wouldn't really say it's the most pleasant place to live especially on your own.

Two stars because it's at least liveable. The building and the neighbours are awful. Your experience will differ depending on the agency you get. Prsim are great, TIR Lettings are awful. The flats are tiny, everything was made for cheap.

I honestly wouldn’t recommend this apartment to anyone! From the condition of the apartment, the area it’s in, to the customer service. If I could rate this apartment 0/5 I would. When we got into our apartment it became apparent that the landlord had not provided us with an alarm code to deactivate the alarm. Having spent over two hours trying to get through to the landlord via Bookings.com, Facebook and the phone numbers we were given our party of 4 luckily guessed the correct combination. As you can imagine, this was a great inconvenience for our party as we had dinner with friends booked which we had to cancel. The following morning we were awoken by a man, who claimed to be a maintenance specialist, entering our apartment and then bedroom. He said; “apologies, I didn’t expect anyone to be here”, whilst standing at the door of our room whilst one of our party members was in a towel and the other member was in bed. The maintenance specialist stated that he was advised by the landlord to come to the apartment to fix the alarm. (No one has been in contact with us.) Inside the apartment, there were door handles hanging off with nails sticking out, stained furniture and outside the apartment there was rubbish dumped everywhere. We have requested a refund but again no one from this company/the landlord has been in contact with any of us. I would highly advise not staying here.

On a picture you can see Christmas tree. It was really dirty around at that time. 2 stars coz it provides roof over a head. Bins are always overflowing on a 4th day and any rubbish that fell on the ground by day 7 stays around - you can see pic also around bins, in the grass, in the entries. Rats are certain to settle soon. Elec heating wasn't cheap last winter, you can imagine now. Also with low external temp these heaters [standard issue] are not enough, so you're looking for extra bill. Moisture can't be stopped from accumulation on the windows, one have to control the mould few times a week. Communal space cleaner is doing very very poor job or isn't paid for enough time.

Castleview house is ideal for couples/single people due to the size of the flats. Granted it may not have the tidiest car park or hallways. It may smell of weed all the time and you can always hear some sort of music. The buzzers don’t work and neither does the barrier. The most annoying thing is everybody drives around the one way car park the wrong way (mostly taxi drivers) and that grinds my gears. But overall, it’s cheap as chips and the location is unbelievably ideal. Cinemas, takeaways, shopping centre, supermarkets, fuel stations, car dealerships and literally 5 mins away from the M56. 20 minutes to beautiful Wales and half hour from the great city of Manchester. All the neighbours I’ve met are sound and ask about your day ect. I’ve read reviews saying how disgusting the place is, but honestly it’s only the car park that has some litter (most of which is from the council houses at the back) But the actual flat you have to live in is newly refurbed all fresh walls and flaw and a proper decent little kitchen. So overall Castleview may not be the e prettiest place in the world, but it’s affordable and mostly a sound place to live. So take no notice of those awful reviews, especially the taxi driver; she smells herself.

Horrible place to live. Bins set on fire, full of drunks walking the hallways (can be heard inside apartment) and then there's the people that blast music almost every night (if you face the inner courtyard like I do you'll know what I mean it's an absolute joke and the glass is way to thin) good look getting any sleep from that even with closed windows. There's also frequent strong cannabis odour that I'm sure you'll notice once inside. There are some nice people living here it's just a shame the odd few that just don't care have been able to run it down this much. Can't wait to leave the place.
