Jessica Brown, the letting agent at Leef, has been amazing throughout my entire move. She helped me with every aspect of the process and made everything so much easier. She provided all the necessary information, answered every question I had, and kept me updated at every stage. Her support and communication were excellent, and I truly appreciate all the help she gave me. Highly recommended! Jessica gets 5 stars for how amazing she was, I however was disappointed with the property to some extent but she still helped me with that aspect of getting everything fixed and sorted out.

I've had a great experience working with Katie and Libby at Leef Properties. When I needed to get permissions from my landlord for a broadband installation at our apartment, Katie was incredibly helpful and responsive. It's reassuring to have such a reliable point of contact for our property management needs. Highly recommend Katie's service!

READ ALL THE BAD REVIEWS & BELIEVE THEM. I had an absolutely horrendous experience renting with Leef. The Area Representative let herself into my home without my permission & peered into my bedroom. She completely invaded my privacy & never apologised for her intrusive behaviour. She attended again when the Council carried out an inspection before Christmas, & she was incredibly rude to me. She spent nearly a whole hour socialising with the contractors in my home. She also implied she would like to reapply the mould infested skirting boards. I reported a shower leak in August 24 & Leef took weeks to deal with this. The leak led to damp & black mould & only when I contacted the Council did Leef arrange a contractor. So I was forced to breathe in toxic black mould & damp for months. A contractor grouted my shower, but then poured the grout down the toilet, which could have blocked it. There was a major leak in another flat causing 2 ceilings to collapse, which damaged a water pump. So, I was left with low water pressure for weeks. I then had no hot water as pipes burst in another flat. Then at the end of February 25 the entire building had no water for 3 days. It’s just a coincidence that after I contacted the Council the water pump was replaced the next day. Leef refused to acknowledge my redress emails & caused me so much stress. The neighbours also made multiple complaints to the Council about Leef’s refusal to carry out repairs. Leef point blank refused to fill in cracks in the walls & ceilings. Leef stated these were settlement cracks & that Leef won’t take any action. But, the Council & a joiner confirmed these were plaster cracks & were only filled in after the Council issued notice. I was then locked in my flat for 12 hours due to a defective fire seal, which required the fire brigade attendance. Leef’s contractor only reapplied the fire seal externally when he realised I was on the phone to Housing Standards. If you rent through Leef & they are not dealing with leaks, mould & damp, then report Leef to Housing Standards at your local council. You can also report Leef to your MP, & seek advice from Shelter or Citizen’s Advice. I also asked my MP’s Office to complain to senior staff on my behalf. The Director Joe Knowles then lied to my MP’s Office stating I refuse access for repairs. I have multiple emails asking for repairs & third party inspections-hardly the behaviour of someone who would refuse access for repairs. In my experience the whole company was rotten from their Director who lied to my MP’s Office, down to their hostile receptionist. Edit: Eldon Place isn’t an ideal location as Leef has claimed in their right move Ad. Eldon Place has litter everywhere & the whole street is infested with rats.

Absolutely appalling from start to finish. I moved in to a new build in Derby Square (Liverpool) in late June last year, despite being assured that the project would be completed by mid April. The communication was non existent regarding updates and a proposed move in date. There was no support available for any maintenance issues throughout the tenancy- and anytime I attempted to contact the office via phone or email I was dealt with extremely poorly. Following the conclusion of my tenancy, I was assured that I would receive a check out report within a few days. (Move out date 4th August 2025)- this was finally received almost 10 weeks later following numerous attempts to contact Leef via both phone and email. Every time I called, I was assured that someone would get back to me promptly-this never happened. They then requested to deduct £660 from my deposit for a few minor scuff marks on walls, and a broken drawer in the freezer. (Does not justify almost £700). Finally reached an agreement of a £500 deduction as they threatened that if I didn’t accept this then legal proceedings would be required to reach an agreement which would’ve put me further out of pocket (being a Masters student is already tight financially). Therefore I had to accept the deduction as paying legal fees wasn’t a viable option especially considering how long this entire process had already taken. I would never conduct any business with Leef Property Management in the future and would strongly advise others to follow suit.

Honestly after being with leef properties management for almost 2-3 years i can say without a doubt that this is the worst property management company that i have been with. I have not one good thing to say about the team, especially in regards to sarah jones who in my opinon has neglected her role. Not only are you unable to call the team in regards to emergencies but they will leave tenants in unlivable condition e.g. black mould, no hot water leaks coming throhgh the property. To anyone looking at the property 35 victoria street, derby stay away.

I have spent the past two years living in a flat in Clifton House, Stockton and I've enjoyed every moment looking out over the river at the swans and other wildlife. My relationship with Leef Properties has been brilliant right from the start with absolutely no issues. My neighbours have been great and very friendly, I have felt safe and enjoyed my environment. I would like to especially thank Kaye Beattie who is the Property Manager, she is very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable and is a credit to Leef Properties. Thank you!

I dealt with Claire when doing two separate apartment viewings. Claire was very nice and helpful for both viewings answering any questions and ensuring I knew where exactly to go. She was punctual and assisted my second viewing quickly after I was unsuccessful with my first application which was great. I’d highly recommend to anyone!

I was lucky enough to rent a nice flat in a good location from Leef last week. There was a few minor cosmetic issues but generally the condition of the flat was good. Everyone else that I had met in the same building seemed to be nice and friendly. Through out the process, I dealt with Kaye, Kelly and Samantha and they were all helpful, thanks ladies!

Claire made my whole moving process effortless and run smoothly. She was always available to help with any questions or issues and I found her a delight to deal with. Claire was always patient and would take the time to explain or talk through the process. I would highly recommend to anybody looking for a property.

This is the most unprofessional letting agency that I have come across in all of my accommodation searches. We went for a viewing and really liked the property. We contacted them and expressed interest in renting it. Haven't heard anything from them after that. I understand that they might have received better offer and have decided to go with that. But as a client we expect a minimum decency of letting us know the outcome of the application. We have sent multiple mails and messages, and calls as well. Never heard back from them. Wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
