Great experience with M&C. Abby from lettings did a fantastic job at getting documents through and guiding us through the process. She was very quick to respond to all emails and was a pleasure to cooperate with. The platform they use (goodlord) for referencing and document management is superb, simple to navigate and easy to use. Highly recommend Abby and the rest of the team for renting, although I’m sure they’re just as efficient with buying and selling too!

We had an appointment to view a property. Nobody turned up to show us around and when I rang the office to see if anybody was coming, they told me they had put an application in to the landlord already so we can't view it. When I asked why didn't they couldn't have informed us of this, she said sorry! Poor service and infuriating for home searchers.

We've been renting with Martin & Co for almost 18 months now, and have never had an issue. From day one, the team has been very helpful, and are always friendly and professional. Any issues we've had have been resolved as quickly as could reasonably be expected, and on more than one occasion they've gone out of their way to help us. I was a tenant for 2 and a half years with Martin and Co ( Widnes Branch). I have found the staff at this branch particularly Amanda quite unprofessional, abrupt in their approach, borderline discriminatory and very unempathetic. I also do not think that they act in the best interest of the landlord when they do not like a certain tenant. I would therefore not recommend their services as a tenant and certainly not as a landlord.
