    In the Gallows Corner in Romforf Branch. Did my entire furniture shopping with Swarn Marwaha who helped me throughout the whole process. He was very patient in showing all the different options as we look at sofas, tables and beds! Fantastic service!

    Ordered bed frame, dining table and chairs, and sofa's. First, they delivered the wrong size table, which they replaced later on. The bed frame was fine. Sofa's delivery on first occasion was refused by delivery drivers as there were parking restrictions, which I informed furniture village about on the day of booking, after first delivery of sofa's noticed Chrome on the sofa frame was peeling and other defects with the finishing details so I complained and had them replaced, with the second sets of sofa's same issue with the chrome peeling off, so I did a reselection. This is where furniture village started to show their true colour, my sofa's costed me Β£4385 ( sale price )including 10% discount, for reselection furniture village customer care offered me value of Β£3600 plus ( forgot the exact figures ) but after talking to the sale consultant karunaker kumar ( who has left since to Chelmsford branch ) advised me he would sort that out, so I should place the order and he will see to it. Now when I choose the sofa's and I asked him to order the sofa's the sofa's were priced at Β£3770 but because of delay in processing from furniture village the price went up to Β£3990, which I am contesting on top of that the are refusing to honour the 10% discount which they give with my original order. So they are trying to charge me Β£220 extra for the sofa's and disagreeing to honour the 10% discount. The sofa's were booked to be delivered on 3rd of December 2025 but because the drivers couldn't park in front of the door they refused to deliver the sofa's, I have not heard back from furniture village since about re booking the delivery. I have raised a complaint before the delivery and I have not received any reply to the complaint about the price. I have had crospondence between the sale consultant and a Store Administrator called Jody @ furniture village Romford, which I'm going back and forth between the two but not coming to a conclusion and I feel I'm being ignored by the sale consultant karunaker kumar now. I am waiting to see the outcome. If I don't get a response soon, I will be writing to the ombudsman to pursue this further. If anyone wants to go through my situation/experience, feel free to shop at the furniture village if not stay clear from the furniture village.

    I came in on a Sunday afternoon looking for a gift for my parents. The selction was wonderful and the service was excellent. I was helped by Nicole, she was an absolute star. Very patient as we were looking fot a specific size. She was very knowledgeable and went through all the options that would best suit what I needed.

    Part 2 After returning the bed and mattress and getting refund after three months We placed order at BENSONS FOR BED, 1. Bensons gave update every week regarding the purchase. Furniture village we had no clue what was happening until after the due date 2. Bensons - On the dot the exact day they committed on day of purchase they delivered. No fuss, no questions, no mess. Furniture village said five weeks, then they said it still didn’t reach warehouse, then no driver, then the driver calls and asks us to pay for parking elsewhere would do delivery another day( when we had separately paid for delivery and assembly), then we had to again call furniture village and go through a unwanted stressful conversation and then got it delivered after a weeks delay. 3. Bensons gave Product as seen in the showroom. Firm means firm. Not with a huge dip in the centre, and not get medium when firm was ordered. Furniture village gave medium with dip in Center 4. Bensons Assembly was perfect. You know what Furniture village did ? The centre support they did put in reverse, leading to a dip in the bed base as well. I don’t understand why we pay for assembly, we could have assembled better than them. 5. They made a deep scratch in our freshly painted new ceiling. Made the whole stairs dirty/blackstained when dragging the mattress. I don’t understand the hurry, we pay our hard earned money, and only simply asking service worth that is provided. 6. Bensons brought shoe covers and wore when stepping onto carpet. When we insisted on taking off the shoes, furniture village refused stating safety issues, I understand that. But asked us for shoe covers. How will a household have shoe covers? What do we use that for? Shouldn’t you bring shoe covers? And they stamped all over our new carpet with their wet dirty shoes. BLATANT IGNORANCE , NEGLIGENCE AND CARELESSNESS towards hard earned money and time of others. Furniture village please Learn from bensons for beds on quality and service please. Horrible quality and service , wouldn’t recommend stepping in this place. I am looking for a place to complain on trading practices, once I find I am going to make a detailed complaint with all evidences and photos.

    I visited the Gallows Corner Retail Park branch and received outstanding service. The sales agent, Nicola was amazing β€” she treated us with warmth and professionalism, as though she had known us for years. For anything I need regarding furniture, this will be my first stop. Great service and great people.

    Had visited this store to re-order a sofa that I previously had to cancel due to delays in moving into my new home. I was served both times by Salim who was really helpful & friendly. Even recognised me from my original visit and helped with honouring the price of my original order which was greatly appreciated.

    Gareth was courteous and helpful. Unfortunately Lee the Sales Manager was somewhat inflexible as regards changes we requested to the dining set that interested us, resulting in our making the purchase elsewhere.

    Salim was very helpful with my order of a bed today! Very professional and very knowledgeable of all the range of products available. Furthermore also being a Bengali he helped my mum understand everything she needed to about her new bed and he recommended the best mattress and colour for her preference! This man is a great sales person and he deserves a raise. Said we may call if we have any questions and handled us with care which I very much appreciate

    I bought a mattress 3 weeks a go ..I asked them for an extra firm. I did not care about the price. I spend 850 on sale which they said was Β£1200.They recommended me one then I ordered. After 3 weeks waiting. They send me a very soft mattress...it is Their bussiness and they told me we do not refund or cancel or change because we are sure about our products quality. It is totally different which you see in showroom and order with which they deliver it. It is shame ...I could spend 300 somewhere else for the same mattress...it is extra SOFT not extra firm...NEVER EVER RECOMMEND.
