The store is ok but the canteen (‘bistro’) is disgusting. I am surprised there are no rats. The toilets were cleaner. The photos are just a sample of how grim it is. Plus the food was cold.

Return experience. I had a very poor experience at the returns desk with the managers in charge. Five days ago, I received a 4-seater Vimle sofa that arrived slightly damaged. Despite this, I was happy to keep the sofa, as delivery to a first-floor flat was quite difficult. However, I wanted to exchange the sofa covers for a different colour because the material of the ones ordered was not suitable for our needs. I contacted customer service by phone and was advised to visit the store, where they assured me the exchange would be processed without any issues. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the returns desk, I was told that three out of the 15–20 items did not have labels attached and therefore could not be accepted. We reviewed the 365-day return policy together, and nowhere does it state that items must have labels attached. The policy clearly says that items must be unused and in good condition, which they agreed was the case. It also mentions that if items are in poor condition, IKEA may buy them back at a reduced price. Despite this, they refused to process the exchange. What is the point of offering a 365-day return policy if even a standard 14-day return cannot be honoured? This was a very disappointing experience with IKEA today.

Good trip. Made some purchases and ate in the restaurant, had my usual meatballs. They were were as good as usual and the restaurant and toilets were clean and could see staff cleaning and clearing all the time. The hotdog was awful tasted plastic the bun was hard and ketchup and mustard tasted chemically.

IKEA is amazing invention. 90% of my furniture are from here, great quality, things last. Few days ago I also tried their kids Creche. 60 min free child care for 3-10 years olds ! It’s amazing. You get a buzzer thing to notify once your time is finishing. Had a lovely catchup with my friend while kids were playing

You can’t go wrong with IKEA! Also really great to just arrive there and have a ridiculously cheap breakfast before you walk around. I think it’s an absolutely wonderful idea and I hope they keep doing it for a long time. The place wasn’t too busy, even though it was a Sunday, and the checkouts were fast. It’s always an easy place to get around, and you always seem to find exactly what you want to fill in those little spots in the house.

Ikea visits are so long that you do need to have a break in between and definitely the cafe serves this purpose very well. Food is very reasonably priced and freshly prepared at site however does not have any choice for Halal food except fish.

This branch of IKEA seems to be very well laid out. The warehouse area has a low ceiling which makes it feel less like a warehouse. The checkouts are well organised and the staff are helpfull. Parking is also good although the traffic in the immediate vicinity can get quite bad. Recommended.

One of the better stores, parking is a little tight, good selection and stock availability. They have have around 100 disabled bays 80 of which are normally empty but parent and child bays are jam packed which is a pain when dealing with pushchairs and large furniture.

I've been here a few times for home furniture. Great place, lovely design ideas for rooms and decent way to buy what you need. The food at the restaurant but is basic but good enough for a furniture store! No doubt will be back here again for more odd bits.

Always plenty of parking, really convenient location as close to lakeside shopping centre & has everything you need. Pretty easy to navigate around, presented well, always has what I'm looking for, love the selection of plants too which is one of the main things I come here for as so reasonably priced and great quality plants.
