We had a brilliant experience working with Zac at Magnet's Esher branch to choose our new kitchen. He was super helpful, knowledgeable and patient. We really got the feeling that he understood the aesthetic we were looking for, and would help us to get there without "ripping us off" with unnecessary add-ons. Delivery went to plan but we had one issue at our end during installation. Again, Zac was on hand to help us through the issue with excellent communication post-sale. Would highly recommend!

Appalled at the customer service at the Esher showroom. The first issue was the fitter they sent gave me a quote of £12k to decorate & put flooring down in my tiny living room and kitchen. He said I needed the floor skimmed (which I didn’t) and was charging £60 per sqm for plastering - £20 is considered a top figure! I told my contact at Magnet about this ludicrous quote & asked if they’d had other complaints and he said ‘a few’. I said they should drop them & he said they’d been out ‘on hold’ so please be aware! I had issues with the person not updating the designs so the fitter had an older version, a shockingly thin stainless steel sink (0.5mm guage) and a swan neck tap that went through the sink, not the worktop, so it wobbles in the thin sink, & a 700w microwave was chosen by my contact - didn’t even know they came that low. So I did a video of the sink and rang to speak to the manager who was on the defensive and was say millions of customers were satisfied with that sink & tap combo! I doubt that very much. Rather than thinking of an option that would satisfy me and not cost them much (a lower tap that is seen other companies selling as a package with that sink), he escalated it by trying to say there was absolutely nothing wrong with what I’d got - this remains unresolved. Finally, I’ve been trying for a week via email to get the huge Magnet waste bag picked up as it’s taking up a whole parking space, & so I rang and got a trainee who asked me to call the next day as my contact wasn’t there - I said he can get him to call me back with a date for when the bag will be collected. I gave my name as he hadn’t asked for it and was about to give my number when he said it was the boss on the other line and he’d get my number off the system and said goodbye leaving me dumbfounded!

Do not use. 3 out of 4 appliances were faulty and they refused to help passing us on to the manufacturers. Their brand means nothing when you have issues, all customer service will do is quote T&C's at you. 6 months in and our appliances are still not fully working.

Please research what you buy before you order as they don’t tell you if it’s good quality or not. Avoid buying Minerva Worktop as stains and chipped easily permanently although paid like for stone worktop -check reviews. However, happy with the brunch customer service, Rebecca.

My wife spent 4 hours in the store last week Thursday 23rd April and was assured she would have a price on Monday. After several phone calls and messages left with Magnets....we are still waiting for the price of the kitchen. My wife really liked the curved kitchen in there BUT it appears that because we were getting a quote from the installer as well who was pushing us to get a howdens kitchen (not to our taste and not even curved) that we are being messed around. Even after just speaking to them they don't seem to be in any rush to provide the quotation as "they are really busy ". Really poor show from Magnets.
